This was my first trip of the year to the Cape. The fish were biting upon arrival and I didn't even have time to get my waders and korkers on. Grabbed my rod and started casting.

Only fished the canal a couple of times, the tide was running strong and didn't catch anything. I enjoy just watching everybody trying their luck, Fresh striper is a good tasting fish.

When I lived in Tom's River NJ. We would fish for stripers on the river, atop a cliff with glass shrimp, on a bobber rig. Best fishing I've ever experienced.

I’ve never fished Cape Cod in the fall to be honest. October/November I stick to New Jersey beaches and occasionally head out to Long Island.

I fished the canal a few times with no luck, there are there are they not there or usually they are across the canal on the other side lol! Nice fish court! What time of the day was it and what tide was it? I love your waist lure and scale holder, what is it?

Epic catches. Switch out your boga grips for fish grips though, bogas can tear their mouth make it difficult for released fish to feed

I like to fish for stripers and I actually live relatively close to the canal but man, I couldn’t do this. Being surrounded by so many people, some of whom will be great while others have zero etiquette…I just can’t do it. I think it’s the same reason I fish for trout in more remote brooks, etc…I’ve tried the swift river above route 9 a few times and you’re constantly getting high holed by guys…the last time I went, some dude actually started throwing to the same rising fish as me. I almost went physically blind…this was on a TUESDAY. I just need my solitude sometimes, man…
