Awesome vid peep's. Thank you for posting. Next May first. Me, my Troopy & the offroad camper trailer leave Sydney on our way to the tip (on the OTT) for the first time, via Birdsville and the Creb track if, it is not closed due to rain.
We did that trip in July, and just where that tanker was at the Laura River we pulled our Everest and camper over and got bogged in the very soft sand! Got pulled out by an Isuzu truck! The trip to the Cape was the best!
Killer rig and channel mates. Such amazing adventures. Would hate to be a croc's dinner for sure. Subed to see what else you get into. As a father-son team of Anthropologist park rangers who love to share the people, cultures, history and natural treasures that make our World so special, we appreciate when others share these things too. Keep up the good work and we hope our work can inspire and entertain you someday, as yours has for us. Cheers from Turtle and Bear.
No idea why this popped up on my feed, but glad it did! I lived (grew up) on Cape York (Weipa) and travelled/camped all over it. Seeing the terrain again made me homesick. That surprised me. I envy the fishin opportunities, winced at all the swimming, and kinda giggled at how you guys 'offroad' at my old stomping ground..lol. As for recommendations...locals usually keep the best spots for the locals 😉😁. Hope you have a tape measure for those Barra!
Camp just east of punsand bay between the indigenous shacks, unbelievable beach, fantastic fishing and enough space for all you vans. Off grid at it's best
WOW, How good is Cape York. Laura is a fantastic look into the past and how hard it must have been in those days, just staying alive. We did the trip in the 80s in a stock standed 45 series Troopy. Now I want to do it again. We stayed at Punsand Bay an ventured out from there. Somerset had a great beach run just to the right of the old ruin. There was an awesome track down along the coast at Captain Billy Landing heading South, with massive Oysters off the rocks. Next episode looks “out of control “ bring it on. Love your guys.👍
The funniest episode yet. You guys are the best...love the "hotdog down the hallway", the fishing antics. Sarah I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself bombing in the water. You guys are my faves BY FAR!!!
Hahaha 🤣 didn’t know the camera was filming haha sarah got a numb bum no tailbone injuries thank god!! Thanks legend! So glad your liking the videos! 🤙🏽🍻🤙🏽
I was thinking about her tail bone. That's happened to me once hurts for ages. Glad she was ok. We look forward to your episodes. Keep enjoying life. Keelan, you remind me of my son. ❤️
Great epp not sure if your still in convoy but if you turn your squelch up a bit you may be able to block out the other convoys that are just in range hope that makes sense
Hi guys great vid very good drone footage, I have been up the Cape on several times the telly track is brutal on 4x4's & gear most drowned 4x4 don't recover well on going starter, alternator, diff/gearbox's and electrical problems. When we did it old 4x4s we didn't care too much about wouldn't do it the current LC200. Safe travels.
Great episode guys. Hope that Barra is not to far away for you. You guys' confidence, editing and the way you showcase everything is awesome. Keep it up. Can't wait for part 2. Drinking my favourite beer there too Keelan 🍻
Thanks guys. That was good footage of you fishing out of Derek's boat. Enjoying your episodes. Have fun at the show this weekend. And Keelan......comb ya hair mate you'll be amongst city slickers. 🤣🤣🤣 Nah....just go like you are.

Hi guys..just found your channel..watched a couple of your recent episodes, including your new van. Currently watching ur Cape York vids, as we are planning to go this August. End of 2021 we just completed the lap of Australia, which took us 12 yrs to complete...but now living in Cairns we have not done Cape York. Just a quick question - is there an exact itinerary of places you stayed and what tracks you driven. Eg in this episode did you drive Battlecamp & lakefield rd from Cooktown to Musgrave..as really did not say much about the tracks you went on. Thanks...yes i have subscribed 😄 Thank you
