In today's video I do some final car prep for Cape York.
FItting a Kaon Rear Roof Shelf, Kaon Battery Hold-down Brackets, Terralume light bar and pack the Prado with a few new bits of Kings gear.

It definitely adds more storage. I’m keen to get the cargo barrier and fridge divider as well 👍🏼

We love our Kaon shelves! one whole heavy drawer was eliminated because we were able to place everything up onto the shelf. We then added a basket beneath it for extra storage.

All their stuff is so good hey! I'm thinking about getting the cargo barrier as well so i can put molle packs on it for storage.

Watched to the end, pissed myself laughing and hit the pisscribed button. Kings has got a bit outta me too with my 200 series build. Watched your awning vid too…not sold yet on whether I should go kings. Glad I found ya channel.

Thanks mate 😂 Kings gear is ok but it depends what it is. My drawers are fine. Had them for years. I can’t seem to break the awning. Their electrical gear like the first gen DCDC charger wasn’t real flash though

😂 yeah I tend to over stress about things I shouldn’t be that worried about. It’d be nice to go back to the days of camping with just a swag 👍🏼

nice one mate, I just order one of the koan shelves for my 80. you might not be able to see in your reverse mirror now, have you got a rear vision camera? If not recommend the woflbox G900, I just installed one in the 80, really cool. I bit expensive but worth it for that situational awareness

I’ve got a reverse camera but it’s pretty old and hazy. In the market for a new one. I’ll check that one out 👍🏼
