The colors, patterns, and textures you choose make this wardrobe much more interesting than typical capsule wardrobes I have seen. I would not become bored of it part way through the season. Thank you. Keep creating your great content.
*How about doing a designer bag collection too ? I’m obsessed with the bags I got @ **_gurep.com_** . It’s hard to believe i’ve been shopping there since 2018.*
Great job on this video. I especially loved the capsule wardrobe formula video as well. You are a natural at this. Please continue each season on building your capsule using the formula.
It makes me so happy to see that it’s resonating with people! I’m preparing to do a spring capsule, but with the current virus situation and my warm-weather clothes being stored outside of home it’s been a little tricky. I hope to be able to have it at the beginning of April!
Me: Binge watching Capsule Wardrobe videos while social distancing... My Wardrobe: Bulging at the seams, in need of reorganizing and purging! Me: Big sigh, OK I'll do it! THANK YOU for posting this video! It is so motivating, and inspiring to see the combinations you make with so few items. Fantastic modeling as well! Now, I'm off to tackle my own closet! = )
This is so great! It will feel like you have a new wardrobe to rock out an about when this period of social distancing is over, even if you don't buy anything new. Good luck!
I’ve been watching capsule wardrobe videos for ever and this is so good - finally someone showed all (well most of!) the options! This is why we aspire to a capsule wardrobe. Thank you xx
Yeah different styles are a big thing! I would love to help someone else put together a capsule with completely different style to mine. It would be fun to see!
Wow, this is pretty amazing. I just watched the video of you putting this capsule wardrobe together and now this one. I’m so impressed with how many options you can make. And they look fantastic on you! Thank you for the inspiration. :)
All of your ensembles looked so good. I'd just have to make an exception for that printed red skirt that looked like it didn't really belong in the capsule. Everything else though I loved. 💖
Really? I feel like that's one of the elements that brings the capsule some fun, a little bit of pattern and makes it not be a capsule full of neutrals. I guess it's dependent on taste then!
That’s good! I think it was mostly my own family. They speak English pretty well but not as practiced as mine. I want them to be able to watch the videos as well!
You are beautiful!! You're also doing a great job with your videos, love the editing. Love the combinations of outfits. Those tall boots and blue pleated skirt are my favorite! I'm in NY too so I understand the NEED for lots of different clothing based on seasons but I do agree that we can use a less amount and still get so many outfits. The less you have, the more creative you have to get and that's my favorite part. P.S. I was also pleasantly surprised by those pockets in that skirt!
I love that you don’t blast us with loud, weird music, like those “songs” with phonograph needles scratching, static noise, wailing, etc., the music is just right. It wears out my arm, toggling the volume up and down all day!
WOW! I just watched the video you put out about these capsule wardrobe pieces and this turned out way better than I had expected! First of all, I love your style! So many pieces and the way you wore them were what I would pair/wear. It's youthful, almost trendy in some ways but not too much, it is classy, and has versatility. You have inspired me to want to get an animal print sweater -AND a belt (which is so not my thing lol). You have shown office/work/daytime wear, brunch/lunch with friends, out for dinner, basic casual, and even nighttime. This was fun to watch and you made it entertaining and definitely helped me with these two videos! Thank you!
I’m glad I found your channel earlier - You are so sweet and funny! I’m loving your videos (and I only managed to watch three of them so far!) you did a great job with your clothing choices, well done! I’m so excited to try this - but perhaps I’ll start with two mini-wardrobes like you suggested (work+life).. Btw, I don’t think you speak too fast, and to me you are easy to understand - even though English is not my mother language. Looking forward to seeing more from you. Love from London ❤
I have a question that you may not have received yet. I have a LOT of clothes. With that said, I gained about 20 pounds this year because of medicine I take and I feel much better. I have some jeans but I would love to hear basics for starting out. I have jeans and shoes (and even the high black boots you have on in the video). I also have white button up tops. Can you recommend where I can start out to buy discount high quality layering pieces? I have a light gray and a black light jacket/long jacket as well as a black jean jacket, too. Any tips are appreciated.
Sooo basically black grey, white and blue.... Thank you. I need lots of help. I am horrible at this and have like 0 style. I feel so bad for my daughters but i do better for them
My feedback on your videos: excellent! I often have trouble understanding YTers, even though I’m a native English (US) speaker. You enunciate very well, no mumbling! You also don’t use like for every other word, which I, like, hate! The only thing I would suggest is that if you do mention brand names, to say them slowly, if they’re not familiar to me, I might not catch them. YTers say “I absolutely love this brand, called mumble, mumble, it’s so high quality, sustainable, made in mumble, mumble, you’ll love the pieces from mumble, mumble”!
I came from a family of interrupters so I speak very quickly as well. Viewers can slow down or speed up the video in the setting right on the video. You can speak at your own pace and viewers can adjust it according to their needs.
Ok good! I think maybe it’s just in the intro and the outro? Maybe the things that I say in every video thatInowknowhowtosayreallywellsoIcansayitreallyfast!
This video was incredible! I’m brand new to your channel but I love your style and personality and how approachable your content is. I pretty much want this exact wardrobe and will probably emulate a lot of these combos out of my own pieces when I build my fall/winter capsule tomorrow!
I really enjoyed your viedo :) I like your "blue" skirt with pockets. Do you remember where did you buy it? I am looking for a that kind of skirt with pockets.
Hi Fernanda, love the outfits and the way you style them. I'm still looking for snakeskin boots like yours, where did you get them? X Patricia from the Netherlands
Hi Patricia! I got them from a department store in the U.S. called Nordstrom. Here is the blog post where I link everything, I f you want to check them out: www.approximatelyright.com/home/2020/2/26/30-outfit-ideas-for-a-15-piece-wardrobe
Trick I learned to tame that floppy end of belt, use a hair tie doubled over to create an additional loop to tuck it into. Is a pet peeve of mine to have something hitting my arm is very distracting when wearing a belt. If you choose something the same color as the belt it blends and makes it look like part of the belt and not an afterthought. I am preparing for a trip and doing my best to only pack a carry on and your video helped me create my own look book to give more consideration to the pieces I am packing. Is a solo trip which means there will be no one to assist with my luggage and am traveling through a state in several cities and do not want to be struggling with suitcase or having to feel like I have nothing to wear.
That is a great belt tip, thank you! And yes - this system works great for trips! I only ever travel with a carry on, even if I choose to bring more than 15 pieces. I've never needed anything bigger! For your trip, I recommend you bring a small toiletry bottle of delicate hand-washing laundry detergent with you. That way if anything gets a stain or you feel like it needs washing, you can easily do so in a hotel room sink and hang up to dry overnight. 👌🏽
Si, esta capsula es la mía, la ropa fue seleccionada para mi figura; pero la clave de una capsula que funciona es que este compuesta de ropa que te queda bien a ti. Tengo otros ejemplos en mi canal, si los quieres checar la playlist.
I want to do one for every season lol...you made me realize I have been using capsule wardrobe for a while. I just mix and match on colors/seasons as it makes it easier for me to plan for weekly meetings ahead of time!! This is fun to learn more. :) Thanks!
Yes, I have two! I have a wool one from Michael Kors from 5 years ago, it's very similar to this one:: www.macys.com/shop/product/michael-michael-kors-asymmetrical-belted-coat-created-for-macys?ID=11006396&CategoryID=269&swatchColor=Dark%20Ruby And another down one from Northface, for the really cold winter days.
Amazing. How do you come up with all the ideas, do you just ay around with the clothes? Do you plan outfits ahead, or put together an outfit every morning?
Hahaha right I should mention that! I like watching videos that have higher speeds but I forget that it can be harder to understand. I'm learning a new language and I'm always asking people to slow down when they speak to me 🤦🏻♀️ taste of my own medicine.
@@vazq_Fernanda I’ve just found the speed dial and it’s so good especially when the host who is interviewing someone starts talking about themself😃 I’m learning to gradually increase my listening speed . I learned to speak Italian and it was so hard when they spoke at their normal speed to understand.
Love this video. So many classy combos. And who would believe a belt would make such a difference to all the combos. I am also so happy about the tuck. Not sure why it’s French? Like French doors and French bread I guess. :) and it makes me happy to know that you too kangaroo hop into your pants/leggings. Haha.
I don't know why it's French either! That's what I know it to be called. Doesn't everyone hop into pants like that? I have to - the more form fitting and higher-waisted the pants are, the more I have to "shimmy" my way in!
Great choices. Loved it. You made the video interesting... instead of just standing there and explaining. I liked the way u u put it all together. The clothes and the video. Awesome job.
I love thise skirts with pockets. I won't even buy a skirt without pockets anymore, because I know I won't want to wear them. Great video! Loved the modeling too, seems you had more fun with it as the video went on. 🙂
