“I stand in the closet, look at my clothes and draw a blank.” “I have so many clothes, but nothing goes together.” “I wear the same thing over and over again.”
Does this sound like you?

I love the formula-- works great! But I did think it was easier for me to choose my 2 pairs of shoes first, then bottoms before tops and layers s-- what are your thoughts ? Reverse the order?
Love this! Question -- Inseam feels like my biggest variable when shopping. I know that J.Crew mens 31 inseam is the perfect length.. I think I'm unclear on the exact spot to measure to. I always get 28 from ankle to what feels like a normal place to stop for the crotch; also when I lay the J.Crew pants flat and measure them, I get about 28 at the bottom of the crotch, but 31 on the dot at the bottom of the pant zipper. What's the correlation (or discrepancy) here, that I'm not getting right? Thanks!
My problem is hips 3-5 sizes bigger than waist and waist 1-2 sizes bigger than bust, also not much change between upper bust and bust but plenty to underbust hence gaping in lower cut tops, most boobage is liw not high. And very pear/bottom triangle shape. How do you deal with sizing when you are small, med and 2xl. Stick in denim curvy shorts, leggings and tees. Have to try everything on as gapes or 2 tight bottom and shorts/pants need to check fit wait and then length usually need to take up quite shoet 😞
ty , i have been looking for a church module and a daily module . i do wear skirts as well but THANK YOU your the only person that has considered no pants thank you

My oddest item would probably be my sheep...This small but fluffy stuffed animal I got from Bath n Body Works years ago. It takes up very little space but gives me a pillow while flying for hours and hours :)
I now this may sound weird but I have a way to really test them Walk outdoors like to the store wearing Sheertex without shoes then the Hanes see which one last's longer.
Me loving this cuz I’m a dark winter too 😅 but I would love to use some of the lighter colors or neutrals from the palette as it can get very dark. I’m using a lot of medium blues of the palette and white.
thank you for this. I am a spring and the only capsules I can make are colourful like this. i have one for this spring which is bright blue, yellow and teal now i have to think how I can bring a pop of pink.
This is funny because HOC spends so much time advertising that they are different from other styling services because they don't do horizontal measurements or body shapes. Yes I've had a style consult at HOC. Gotta love honesty. HOC also does tell you there are ideal body shapes and they tell you that hips 2" larger than bust is the ideal and an hourglass not a pear. All of their advice is about getting you to appear ideal, balancing, just like every other style system.
Love that this video popped on my feed! I was stuck with how to incorporate edginess with my light summer pallet. Pinterest showed a ton of black and leather… but I know there’s more than leather, studs, animal print and black/grey to a edgy style
This is AMAZING! This is my current styling journey: recently discovered I’m a summer but not “into” the implied softness of summer colors and had no idea how to make my look be “bolder” or “stronger”. Your video is a GREAT jumping off point for me. ❤
Just found out I'm a clear spring. No wonder my wardrobe is just complementary colours bunched up together. Anyway, can you make a capsule wardrobe for work attire for spring colour palette? I'm being asked to wear the most drab colours to work, and I hate it.
They say double ur wrist measurement to get ur neck circumference. And dbl ur neck to get ur waist. (Waist won't always be accurate tho, because of how ppl hold their weight and if they have baby weight/skin... toned with abs, etc. And women's weight and waist Fluctuates so easily.) This is pretty close tho. And good tips. My wrist was: 6" My neck was: 12" My Waist: 26"
Every single test i did online and on myself gave me deep winter, one time true winter (probably because of the lighting) but i always felt black looked wierd with my hair and white looks atrocious on me, i had a color analysis done a few weeks ago, turns out i'm dark autumn ._. i got compliment when i had my hair blue and none when it was purple not because it was a blue but because it was a teal, same for a linen shirt a lot of people love on me, hunter green and plums looks good on me, not because they are cool colors but because they are dark warm versions of those colors (also winter colors don't look bad they just look disconnected, that why red lipstick looks garrish on me)
I used to have teal colored hair at my most formative years so i learned to not overcrowd my outfits with colors that could distract from it because it would look to crowded and i wiuld later one change my hair color more and more often so understated pieces worked great at that point. Now i have my natural hair color so i like to play with spefic hues (i'm non binary so colors that don't suit me tend to make me look older and more masculine than i want to) i seem to fall into the trap of monochromatic basic colors because i gravitate towards mainly towads more somber deep moody hues and i go either black or brown instinctively for some reason. I have a fringed heavily colored (mainly brown and orange) russian shawl i wear everyday and i just bought a green suit for my brother's wedding so i'll use those two pieces/sets to build a color palette from and i'll start sewing , thrifting, and knitting my own wardrobe (i plan on knitting a lopapeysa/Icelandic sweater because i love knitting colorwork and the feel of lopi/Icelandic yarn in winter is amazing
As an actual Dramatic Cool Summer, this was fun to watch! (Though I dress more feminine for my ethereal essence.) I was a bit surprised there wasn’t more grey - that’s my go to when I wanna feel edgy 🙃 Aside from that - great ideas with regards to structure & design!
As a colour lover this is the video I’ve been looking for, finally a capsule that’s actually full of bright colours. Usually when someone says a colourful capsule I leave disappointed because it’s all muted colours and neutrals. You’ve made my day, thank you 🤩
