I think Giancarlo is a main villain misdirect, which is sad. I hope he doesn't die and is used in other projects. I heard rumors he's a fusion of an obscure Cap villain and a real important Moon Knight villain

Giancarlo already confirmed he’ll be in a show later. He can’t be the main villain here, he was only added during the 22 days of reshoots (Which THR confirmed was the only round, which means scoopers were full of shit with the “4 months of reshoots!” Stuff). Tim Blake Nelson was already confirmed to be the main villain when this was first announced, returning as The Leader.

Coming after such efforts as The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Secret Invasion, my enthusiasm for this movie could not be any lower. A massive shrug of the shoulders from me.

It looks like it can be fun, but I am sadly boycotting it, because they are introducing an Israeli superhero, I have never missed a Marvel movie in theatre since Avengers I, but Marvel should have known better imo. And thanks to you I was able to watch the trailer without even giving them a view!

I can usually just go by the terms of separating art from artist which is the same thing a lot of people did when buying Hogwarts Legacy or anything Harry Potter related since the lady behind it is transphobic. I didn't even know there was someone in here thats controversial but I'll learn a bit about it

@@JustGavinBennett I'm good at separating the Art from the artist too, usually at least, but many civil society organizations have called for a boycott of the movie so I'm doing it for solidarity, not judging anyone who doesn't, it's just a movie after all that won't move the needle, but still can be a nice gesture.

@NoorAhmed-nk2jq I'm sorry but that just sounds stupid to boycott a movie because of a FICTIONAL character so if the DCU introduces Isis alongside the new Black Adam as his love interest like the comics I guess you're gonna boycott that too

Just really disappointed that after like 25 reshoots they still couldn’t manage to remove the biggest problem from this movie even though the character is highly unnecessary and could be replaced by any other agent.. Sabra is literally named after a Palestinian massacre and the only comic she’s known for is where THE HULK has to teach her A GROWN WOMAN that a CHILD is HUMAN and doesn’t deserve to be killed 😭 She’s also played by an actress that was not required to fight for the IDF.. but she chose to anyways, which says so much about her.. ..and they’re like “yah we’ll put this in” She seems fitting for that role I guess.. It only shows more that it’s entirely intentional and not an accident. So now, when this movie catches heat from both sides of the fandom, all the “anti-woke” people are gonna blame it on a black lead and female lead when it’s completely unrelated to that. It’s gonna be such a headache😭 Update: apparently now she’s playing a former Black Widow.. which actually makes it worse because that further proves the point that this character could’ve been anybody played by anybody.. This character was complained about since the movie was announced and the movie filming was delayed. They could’ve recasted before the movie even started filming or anytime during reshoots… 🙄

Yeah I'm boycotting the movie, I didn't even watch the trailer on the main channel, I'm giving Gavin the view instead. What is sad is I was excited for Sam as Cap, and the trailer looks interesting, but Marvel should have known this is one hornet nest they should not poke, I would have boycotted it even without the current events though probably only in the Cinema then watch it illegally or such, but now I am pissed and don't think I can watch it at all, and considering what has happened the last 9 months Marvel have bigger problems than just me boycotting, they are setting the movie up for failure.
