One thing puzzles me. If those women consider they would be traitors to dance or show affection to the occupying soldiers - WHY COME TO THE GODDAMN DANCE IN THE FIRST PLACE?
Not all the German's were bad guys. I'm willing to bet a lot of them too, just wanted to get home alive and return to their post war lives. Although many Germans went abroad like Canada or the U.S to start over being Germany was destroyed and half of it for 40 years living under the Russians
Let me have another opinion since my grandfathers told us how bad you misbehaved in Greece!Althogh the German soldier was more righteous than the italian one,not harasing the locals without a reason....when it came to revenge for some partisan action,Germans were the most cruel bastards ever to live. They commited small-scale ''genocides'' against innocent people, just for living in villages close to some incidents where a german soldier was killed
@@kevininsomne well you surprise me. I have worked with German people for around 35 years and have never experienced this. Like most ordinary folk they just want to live a normal life. I have many happy memories with my German friends. Should we hold all German people accountable forever for what happened in the wars? I think not. If we acted like this then we English would have a lot to answer for. Yes what they did to the Jewish people was inhumane, but the younger generations should not be made to feel guilt. You cannot change history but we can certainly learn from it. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
