Beadlocks, head bolts, cast aluminum oil pans, cast diff covers, flywheels, clutches, balancers, mechanical fans, headers, cast iron exhaust manifolds. People don't realize how often you actually need to make multiple progressive-torque passes on a lot of components for safety, even surface pressure, and sealing. Thank you for bringin it up my guy

His comment makes zero sense, seeing as there are 4,000hp cars that compete in drag week and Rocky Mountain race week every year. There is no such thing as “too much power for the street” being that a new GT500 or ZR1 will make equal power to anything he owns with minor bolt on’s. This is just a ploy to hype up his own cars.

Look up guys like Brett LaSala on RU-vid. 1,600+hp, runs 7.20’s and drives that car to work on a regular basis. Go watch Finnegans BlaspHemi do drag week. There are thousands of 1,200+ hp cars that drive the streets on a regular basis.

U gotta try the no lift shift in the zl1, it will help a lot. U can also adjust the launch control in the setting which helps a lot. I got 3.8 0-60 with just normal ps4s street tires in my zl1

From a manual ss owner you can initiate launch control by double pressing the tc button sticking the clutch to the floor and it’ll rev itself to about 5500 then when you dump the clutch it’ll do what it do.!

Dr's are made to slip/haze the tires to keep the wheel speed up. The tires are doing its job but your suspension isn't. The car would do well on the track but if you're wanting some no prep performance, consider going to adjustable shocks that will allow you to loosen up your rear end a little and try to get some more travel out of the front suspension. I'm sure you know most of that already. No prep/street stuff is a backwards from tuning for prepped tracks

Also, be safe down in Mexico on them sticky bois. I know you know but the sidewall has a tremendous amount of give on a bias ply, even with locks and low pressure. Sometimes ya gotta pedal it pretty hard to hold it straight.
