The Sturmtiger must have looked a fearsome beast on the battlefield and would have been a trophy for allied troops to have captured. Enjoyed watching you build this model with a great result.

Cheers for the video. I’ve found it’s easier to spray the stencil onto clear decal film, clear coat it then cut out and apply as you would with regular decals.

Very well done. It's a shame a lot of detailing we all do ends up being hidden. The last Tamiya Bf-109 I did had multiple parts held on with very small magnets. You could display with the cowlings open and later, when you got tired of that look; put the alternate parts on for cowl closed. I HAVE thought about putting a small fiber optic camera in a tank interior. But, that might be going a little overboard. ;-) Nevertheless, I like your work and very calm demeanor when you explain things. See you next video.
@ModelNerd

Thanks Stephen. I was looking at that Bf-109 the other day (it was on sale). Magnets are certainly a good solution to that issue.

It really looks great. I like the full interior models. It would be nice if the model companies would make a transparent paint for the armored clear parts. So you can still see the interior. I guess it's asking too much. But really nice job.

Bloody awsome! A tip if you want to create some heavier mud, is to mix desired paint with some plaster and add that behind the roadwheels. You can can blend it by adding washes and speckling mud tones on to it! As the heavy weight of the vehicle would most likely tear up the soil

A great model and a subject I have always liked. About a year ago I made the RFM Jagdpanther with the full interior. It is a mega build with, as you say, a lot of small parts and what would have been hidden detail. In the end I decided to section the hull with my dremel and made the model look like a museum exhibit. I cut away almost all of one side of the upper hull, lots of the roof and much of the front around the detail parts. I don't think the clear roof is adequate to show off the interior.
@ModelNerd

Very cool! Sounds like a great project. I agree about the clear parts. The RFM Panther I have includes cutaway hull sections like you describe (plus normal parts too), which is really handy.

7:30 those different patterns are there because in real life, the Sturmtiger was so inconsistent that every Sturmtiger was different than the previous model, those holes are there to redirect the gases after a shot and force them out, if you look for pictures you'll see every gun is different

Yeah, I agree. I did the full interior Tiger B in a previous video - I still need to put that in a diorama with the crane lifting off the turret so you can see inside. Wow ! You knocked it out of the ballpark with that camo job ! These Strumtigers could have been a game changer for the Nazi blitzkrieg tactics had they been available much earlier in the war. They probably would have completely captured Russia, UK, France and Spain to link up the troops in Africa. This tank & the StG44 infantry rifle being readily available could have changed the outcome for the war for the worst. Such a cool tank & you definitely did it some justice! Thanks Darron, that's interesting to know. I also noticed that on my "cutaway" Panther kit from RFM the instructions make no mention of the cutaway parts - they're identical to the normal kit version. I guess they figure if you're building a full interior kit, you can work it out.
