This is the most affordable BMW in Malaysia, the BMW 218i Gran Coupé. It is shown here with the optional M Performance Parts, which include a different grille, wing mirrors, spoiler and tailpipe finisher. Locally-assembled.
You know what, the Passat Elegance can offer you grayish metallic Liverpool Alloys rim. Awesome colour that match with every colour of Passat Elegance 💙
do they sell the 218d version in malaysia? how about the 318d? trying to figure out where they sell the bmw diesel versions in south east asia. also i like the way you review. do this for all the vehicles you review. i would buy any bmw car regardless of price point as long as its rust proof..but if the made in china or south east asia versions rust then its a no. i would rather pay for a rust free chassis and a good engine.
BMW Malaysia officially sold the 320d (F30). They also sold the 520d (F10) and offered xDrive20d models for the X3, X5 and X6 in previous generations. All current BMWs sold through official channels in Malaysia are petrol or phev petrol models. Diesel fuel in Malaysia doesn't have the best reputation. And now we're using higher percentages of palm-oil derived methyl esthers in our diesel, (about 10% of it is palm-oil derived). This type of fuel has not been tested by BMW, which is probably why they no longer sell diesels here. Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association says it's fine though). Also, nothing smaller than a 3 Series was offered with a diesel engine as far as I can tell.
