There are many reasons why these crashes happen: 1. Going to fast 2. Driving to fast 3. Driving above the speed limit 4. Speeding 5. Extremely fast driving. 6. Pedal to the metal driving 7.Driving as if they where Mika Hakkinen...but they are not.

Compulsory speed limiters on all vehicles would have a huge impact on numbers of accidents, still wouldn't change behaviour of reckless drivers though, those crossroads junctions just look lethal in some countries.
8:53 been in that situation before. Not blaming the driver but she could have totally avoided that if she had swerved left instead of screaming and just plowing into the car. Again not really her fault but she could have driven more defensively.
exactly my thinking. If she actually stayed in her lane, she would pass him, instead she drove into him. Dont blame her, but any experienced driver would handle that easily.
@@123wer5 one word "panic" their brain has not encountered this before, so they bang slam on the brakes maybe shut eyes as well. Years ago my sister hit ice in her jeep, her respond was to let go of steering wheel and draw her hand up before her eyes, and to today I am in wounder by her response, and always try to remind her of it.Ha Ha.

8:52 How hard is it to slowly press on your brakes to slow down and turn left to avoid a collision. Worst case scenario jam on your brakes and maybe you stop before you hit it or you slow down enough for the car to get out of the way. Screaming and continuing to press on the gas just results in what happened.
I am not trying to be rude here just voicing my opinion. I personally have been in a very brutal car crash and it is not a show or funny happening. It is very much traumatizing and full of fear. I personally think it is awful these videos exist. It’s not the video it’s self though, it’s the comments it allows like, ‘too bad they’re was no blood or death I’m sad.’ I’m sorry but what the actual f**k?! Car crashes are not jokes! That needs to be made clear. I also want to mention, not all car crashes are caused due to bad driving. The ones I have been in were not by bad driving, and no I’m not biased. I was not the driver.
