My fave. Esprit Turbo. The ultimate James Bond car for me.

It's a beauty, and it looks like that Esprit has found itself a great steward who will allow it to fulfill it's destiny.

Love how he mentioned about actually driving it. Never understood having such a beautiful car and just letting it sit in the garage.

What an amazing car. I just love the Lotus Esprit, especially the Giaguaro models. My all time top 5 favourite car. It hops around from nr. 1 to nr. 5 and so forth, but it has never left my top 5 :-) Everytime I see it, it puts a smile on my face. Especially on videos with nice camera angles and with a passionate owner who talks about it. Beautiful!

Glad to have found your channel! I have an 83 Investor Edition (#32 of 50). I broke the cam belt just after it was delivered (2 times around the block :( Now engine is completely rebuilt $10K later. Ready to go back in. I need paint and interior leather re done to be presentable. I can't wait to drive it as it was meant to be driven! Thanks for the great Vid!!!

One of the best looking car ever made next to countach and testerossa!!! Too expensive to maintain, so I’ll stick with my Miata nc hardtop.

The content, the mix of pictures, music, voice , noise is just an excellent job. Congrats. Since one of my sons graduated in creating videocontent, I know a little what it takes to make a good video and this is it. And of course the car. I am biased. I own a 1980 Lotus esprit S2.2 and yes Giugiaro created a timeless design. Yes you can see it is old, yes the typical wedge has had its era in cardesign, but it never stops to amaze people and it is one of the best wedge shaped origami designs ever. Oh , Mine will hit 90.000 miles soon, so this red one is not the highest mileage one of the G cars.

Nice but you need to change the title as that's not an Esprit turbo. They came later post 1987. That's a Turbo Esprit....even says so on thes side!

I saw one in The Bahamas for $3,000. I couldn’t believe it was that cheap. The owner passed away and the family just wanted to get rid of it.

Something about a red Lotus Esprit makes me think of a Ferrari when I looked at it. It's only in red that it looks like a Ferrari.

I wanted one of these so bad all my life and never got it and I never will.
