I havent touched car models in years. I get too caught up in wanting in super detailing it up. You are tempting me at trying them again. Great video and lessons Paul!

Great show Paul really well made and what a must have video series for all model builders of any level. First class mate, bravo! 😉👍 Just one little tip though, get rid of that kitchen roll it is the worst thing to have near your spray booth and paint. If you take a piece of it and rub it with your hands over a black surface like marble or black card and rip it a couple of times you'll be horrified at the amount of small particles of dust it leaves which become airbourne and cover everything in your room. Only use blue roll it's the best and most economic way and the lesser of two evils when you need to use something for wiping down your surfaces etc. I have mine in a pull dispenser at low level attached to the underneath of my workstations to keep the dust off of the roll and to keep any particles it generates when used under the tables. Hope this makes sense and keep up the great work it's GOLD 😉👍

Hey clive cheers mate appreciate the kind words. I use the Asda shade kitchen roll and its very very strong and even when wet wont tear unless really pulled, its the best stuff i found out there it leaves no dust at all, great for cleaning out the airbrush too. Great Video Paul... No probs with to being longer for me, the longer the better in truth when I can learn from a master :-) Looks like another shopping list for me, Tamiya panel line wash and the W&N Sansodor thinner... as well as AK Extreme metals, they look to go down soon much smoother than the Vallejo MA metal colours I have used in the past ... Cant wait for the next episode, roll on Sunday :-)

Did you prime and paint the chassis blue, or is that bare plastic? I would think it's painted, but some of the reflections look like I can see the plastic swirls, so I"m not sure.

Excellent video, Paul, as always. And even though I don't build cars (unless not yet) I enjoy watching your work as I always learn something. I do have a question regarding using the CA glue, though. Isn't it necessary to remove the paint at the glue points before gluing? I thought this was a rule of thumb. Thanks.
@InternationalScaleModeller

Hi, i dont find you need to with ca glue it still sticks everything unless its a tight fit then some paint removal may be required, thanks for watching and commenting - Paul :)

Hi Paul, I've been building car models for getting on 40 years and have learnt something new from all of your videos I've watched so far! Great video, Paul! Couple of questions. How do you ultimately dispose of your used thinners and cleaners? Do you ever have problems with super glue fogging areas around the joints?
@InternationalScaleModeller
@InternationalScaleModeller 6 лет назад
Hi, thanks, the thinners tend to evaporate for the most part as my cave is pretty warm, any that dont are put into an old thinner bottle and dropped of at the local refuse tip that has a fluid collection:), thanks for watching and commenting - Paul :)
