Great tip using the toothbrush to remove any left over polish. I use a tooth pick sanded down a back t to get into tight places. Going to try the brush. Thanks & happy building

Looking good Paul great show lovin it it's absolutely brilliant. Just a little top tip, when you need to wet flat just pop a tiny drop of washing up liquid into your water to soften it, this stops you accidentally scratching your clear rather than flatting it. Also if you have a bar of hand soap beside your water container you can dip your paper into the water and then run the cutting face flat over the soap bar before each application. This stops any accidents happening and it's much easier to work with. Just wash out the paper & rub over the soap bar each time it starts to dry out. Keep your bar of soap in a dish with a sealed lid on it when not in use. Always wash it clean before and after use. 😉👍

Paul, Another awesome installment of this series. I got to try the polish removal with the airbrush/water method you demonstrated in this episode. I always had an issues with removing the polish. I have to report it worked like a charm.....Much appreciation. The Subaru is looking really awesome.... Super, Super clean build..... Thanks for posting an keep up the good work.

Hi Paul, thank you for the great video. One thing I am wondering, I noticed that you apply too little compound on the cloth, compared to other guides in youtube. Do you add more for each side/part of the car? Or you only use that few, and water the cloth, and apply to the whole body?
@InternationalScaleModeller
@InternationalScaleModeller 3 года назад
Shouldn’t need a lot of the compound to be honest, keep the cloth wet and really if needed

Morning Paul Great video as usual very good tips and very informative. I have 2 questions for you. 1. When you talk about cellulose thinner are you referring to lacquer thinner? 2. Is MRP Mr. 2K compatible with Zero, splash, and Gravity colors paints?

I painted my modell(ducati 916 motorbike) whit tamiya lacquer paint(i mixed out a special colour for it from lacquer paints) and it was so that the paintjob was a litle bit orange pill but really bit and my paint runed out. I didnt made the clear coat yet just sanded a bit whit tamiya 3000. Now orange pill gone but there are really small scratches. Now i have scary because i dont have already this paint and i puted up the decals and i dont know that i have to make now the clearcoat and dont mind whit the tiny scratches(will be gone whit the clearcoat?) or i sanded carefully more a bit whit 12000 micros mesh..:/:)

Great idea about using the hot knife to cut clear parts, stealing that! What about when you have to apply a decal directly to the clear parts? Sun strip or side window decal etc, do you seal these in any way or just leave them as they are?

I'll cover that in part 10 ;) thanks for watching and commenting - Paul :)
