Couple tips: wash the jams and the outside of the panel before you sand it. Wash the panel again before you tape it. Blow it with low pressure Then tack it. (Not at the same time) finally take your - Gloved- Hand and lightly rub the whole panel
Also if your gonna take the time to pop the trunk open so you have access to your edges you should probably put clear on them and not just let it blow over the edge.

@@thewaltbrownellchannel9318 chill he had the concept right he said flashing which will show you the plants thickness or thinness if you know how to do it I seen auto body shops use flash lights to spot out the more heavier layers and the thin layers for a smooth uninform finish .but the actual light is a sun gun your correct but like I said you can use a flashlight if you know what your doing
I have done my car as silencer coating and wiper traetment its very awasome .....and i done some panel for painting as before as now it looks very good ......5k network covers our heart as more
You may have noticed he was able to blend the colour out with very little room, toward the quarter panels. Wont work with other paint lines cause you have multiple coats needed for coverage. It will even work with a spray sensitive colour such as a high metallic. like to see other paint lines do that!
hi please I need an advice if possible. I need an opinion / advice for a TOP clearcoat , by that I mean a top quality texture after the clear is cured. what do you think about Cromax CC6300 or CC6700 or any other brand? many many thanks
That’s a fair amount of overspray on the boot where the light would sit... Looks alright though. A nice extra coat of gloss and a good polish and that mirror shine will stay for a decade. Good work.
Wow. Either good painter or good paint. The shit that comes out on brand new factory finished cars is very shity and covered in terrible orange peel. They should be completely ashamed of themselves. This is such a great job you showed us. Keep it up man!
Good looking finish but I knew there would be trash to pick out from the start. You need to put a 12 inch piece of paper over the plastic around the edges instead of the plastic. All those wrinkles will do it every time. Also, tack off the paper/plastic

Very nice application of base & clear. Wish painters would just take a few extra minutes to focus on a nice job. Most are lousy, yet they think they're amazing. Looked like Axalta product.
Que minucioso trabajo, nunca había visto que se preocupen tanto por el trabajo de pintura, donde vivo los pintores dejan todo el carro lleno de polvo, pintura con hoyos, pintan las molduras y demás, te pintan el interior gratis, dejan la pintura lijada con 400, no reparan bien los golpes, etc
It would really impressed me if he was using the cheapest paint available in the most crapiest spray booth with the temperature above 100° F, until then, I would be impressed.
