Trial Close: That's Great you want to think about it, I respect a sit down with the family on a big purchase and making a decision togethe, I do the same with my family. How about i do this, I'll let you take the car home overnight to get a REAL feel for the car and let the family experience exactly what you are feeling right now. Sound good? I don't do this often but i can tell how much you enjoyed driving this baby. The best way to get someone to get ina car and talk to them is to get on their side as someone that seems like there not trying to sell them a car. you try to find common features on the vehicle you think are better then other earlier models. Tell them a completely honest opinion of what youve had experience with " same make different years different packages and year colors and what options were available " talk some crap about other cars that are trash and get them to start laughing about the difference of what the "beauty that your looking at" and the crap that used to be availabe. You get the customer on your side with the features that the customer is lnterested in and then compare them to what you have been talking about. It may be a different time but you can always tell someone hey i have the keys and theres a starbucks about a mile away can i buy you a cup of coffe cuz gee i could use one

My favorite thing about Andy is when someone tries to throw him off his "script" he can just continue flowing. Never seems to be stumped, never gives the "I'm not sure how to answer that" He never has that "Oh crap what do I do" face.

Everything is easy if you're smooth but the only thing that is out of your control is when the ups aka customer finds out their trade is upside down or that that're only going to get 2k for their car. They will take it in as an unsult and leave

The entire auto sales industry needs to keep up with modern times. I purchased a tesla in less than an hour on my phone/tesla app. No negotiating needed, no bs salesman trying to upsell you, no shady market adjustment or garbage fees, no time wasting back and forth with the sales and finance department.

If I come across these kinds of guys I know how to object better and take away their upper hand since I am prepared since most of these guys are learning these exact cookie cutter techniques

Uh there was like 3 guys who asked to take him inside to show them numbers. I think Andy just wants to reject anyone from having the right answer. Technically, I can just keep saying "I need to think about it" to all of Andy's trial closes too, just like how he did to every one who atempted.

None of them overcame the objection. They kept asking questions that didn’t really help overcome it and move it forward. They were hesitant and kept stuttering. He’s making them better by calling them out and continuing to push the objection because it isn’t getting covered.

As a sales manager, asking if its the car, the sales person or the money is a must. They're not sold on the car, not sold on the money for the car or (every salesmanager knows bc we have this guy) wouldnt buy the last car on earth from that particualar sales person.

My dealership starts with an average APR on the pencil, you should have an idea of where there credit is already, you work with them hopefully on the monthly payment and down payment and not price to the point they are satisfied as is the dealer and then pull credit. If they ask about APR “you don’t know because you haven’t earned the right to run their credit yet”

Bill Gates is an introvert. Use it for your gain. Theres a ton of qualities about being an introvert. Trust, i think, can be easier to build with an introvert vs an extrovert. Just look people in the eye and listen to them. Itll take you a long ways in life without having to step way outside of your skin.

Why? We all wanna be good at what we do and closers. This guy's wants to build a relationship that the customer is just gonna walk out and give to someone not trying to work for it. In training we talked about lots becoming drive through a with door watchers and order takers like people that take a order for a hamburger through a drive through window with no feeling or skill. How exactly would you want to see your salesman act? Not motivated,not try and be extremely informative? What's the real difference in the person buying the vehicle now from him or 2 weeks later from someone else but he got the deal because he used more techniques? I'm genuinely interested because I'm about to start and I don't wanna be generic or a cookie cutter door watcher and I wanna appeal to every type of buyer.

At the end of the video he stated he wanted to help you get the best deal and be happy. Not,let's get the most out of this deal no matter what even if the customer isn't happy about it. This may seem aggressive to some people but it's an aggressive business. I don't think just being passive and a tag along salesman will get you very far or you'll probably make about 30k a year doing this. Being too timid will make it where you'll need to quit. I definitely wanna be informative and if the customer is iffy but they're definitely buying a car then I wanna do what it takes to sell them the car and be happy and keep coming back.

I could write a dissertation on the different types, from those who can barely make eye Contact and a damp, limp wristed handshake to the outright, cheesy and aggressive..... and some really professional types in between. I should start my own YT channel on "ethical sales" training .. lol ... Andy's sales approach is great for passive, novice, inexperienced buyers.... his approach is to "bully" by overpowering them with his dominant character ... the car could be perfect (or not) he just wants to make a sale, which is fine ... it's buyer beware. Every car buyer would watch these videos and learn how to say NO when needed. I've learned a lot from his videos, not all bad ... His approach woundn;t work on me, that;s all.

I was recently listening to Jeremy Miner and this guy would probably not get my business and Jeremy probably would. If people start this with me I literally tell them “I’m not going to buy your sales pitch, I’m looking to buy a car” and “Oh, nice…either/or close” or whatever.

@@HOC307 I don’t lie to people. I sell Kia’s though and Kia has its own Foundry. The only car manufacturer to own ultra high grade steel. Now manufactures today only use 50% or less of ultra high grade steel because it cost a lot. Kia on the other hand uses ultra high grade steel in every inch of their cars because they own it. So with Kia there’s not much to lie about. The safety features and luxury features speak for themselves. Yeah I’m very charismatic, I don’t let my stutter get in my way and I also make it present as well so the customer isn’t nervous.
