These are items I have loved having in my 2016 Mazda6 Grand Touring and I recommend purchasing for yourself if you can. #newcar #mazda #mazda6 #grandtouring
Thanks for the video. I would be happy to see more videos about this particular car. (As I Currently, drive exactly the same car - Mazda 6, 2016 GT, with 114 K miles on it). You covered hundreds of thousands of miles with it and the accumulated expertise would be priceless.
I’ve replaced the spark plugs but I don’t remember when. I’ll have to get records from my mechanic and do a video of what I’ve had done on the car. Thanks for the idea!
My '90 323 has rear vents under the front seats which I find incredible in a 34 year old car! It also has other great features like a lockable glovebox, variable intermittent wipers and rear arm rest. Combine this with progressive brakes, good visibility and a clutch, gear shift and throttle that all work in harmony and it's been 34 years of love (we've had it since new). I especially like the extender on your visor. Go Mazda! Thanks for the great vids Mate.
I can see the appeal and I can see opportunities where I would enjoy a self driving car. But, I love the driving experience so much that I’m not sure it would be something I would want to use often enough to make it worth it for me.
I’ve recently got my Mazda 6 2017 but sadly I could only get the sport and not the touring but that’s the one I originally wanted but I’m still quite happy and thankful I was able to get my car in general
The Mazda6 is a great car in general. The Sport trim is just missing some features that the Touring has. I’m sure it’s still really fun to drive. And still a beautiful car.
Beautiful car! And holy cow that's a lot of miles! I have a 2016 Mazda3 Sport and it's only at 100k, I hope it can make it at least double that, it's on its 2nd transmission 😬
@@TheEpling I was a bit shocked when my dealer told me that too! I was starting to have a delay going into gear after the car would sit for a few hours, and really wonky shifting - 1-2, 2-3, 4-5, and 5-4 would often 'jerk', sometimes pretty aggressively - even after a fluid change and getting my TCM reflashed at the dealer it was still doing it. It seemed to be getting worse with mileage too (bought at 75k), so it had me very concerned. The new transmission is still a bit clunky when shifting and moving on and off the throttle, but much better than the old one so I've just chalked it up to being how Mazdas drive. 🤷♂ Otherwise I love the car and have had no issues other than my rain-sensing wipers not working and a clicking CV axle lol but I expect this kind of stuff at 100k.
Wow. That’s a rough start for you. I wonder if the previous owner didn’t take care of it. I’ve got a 2006 Mazda6 that I bought at 70,000 miles. Transmission went out about 10,000 miles later. Previous owner must have been hard on it because it now has almost 300,000 miles on it and it runs great. Hopefully yours does the same for you.
@@TheEpling That's what I'm assuming. It had a full carfax of service done at the dealer up until I bought it. Thought it would be fine. Guess not I did my research on these cars before buying and saw only great things about the Skyactiv drivetrains, so I still have faith in the little 3. Everything else has been just fine so far. Definitely interested to see just how far yours will go!
😂 I’ve had leather seats for 7 years and I love them. I also have heated seats so the cold isn’t a problem. I also park in a garage so they don’t get hot. If something spills on them I just wipe them off. No scrubbing trying to get stains out. Haven’t had any maintenance on these to speak of. But I can see how they wouldn’t be enjoyable if I parked outside in the heat and didn’t have heated seats in the cold. They may not be for everyone. I’m still learning, my…um…opposite of grasshopper. 😀
I’m right there with you. We opted to save money and bought the Subaru Ascent with cloth seats and no memory seats. Such a huge difference in comfort and convenience. Well worth the extra money.
@@TheEpling Is it really that different in the US, cloth seats are same except they are not covered with leather in Europe, and I can't sit in leather for more than few minutes (hence why leather is always a no no for me - really hot ).
@@markokorevec3198I’ve found most cloth seats to be hard. A good leather seat is usually really comfortable. Not all leather is the same so some manufacturers may not make a good leather seat due to poor materials. I’m just educated guessing here but that’s been my experience. Also, I park my car in a garage so my seats rarely ever get hot. I know not everybody can do that and leather is unbearable when you first get in the car when it’s been outside in the heat. I also drive off and on all day so my car is rarely parked in the heat for more than an hour at a time.
