We found Boonmoo Station on WikiCamps and thought it looked like a great place to camp. Its not far from Dimbula and about 90mins from Cairns. They have loads of campsites on the property and they all sit along Eureka Creek. So water frontage, heaps of space and heaps of fire wood. Amazing place to get a nice big private campsite. We were the only people there as they normally close for camping in August, but there was enough water in the creek that they were happy for us to go down there.
During this video we go and explore all of the other campsites, some of the historical relics and spend some time hanging out at camp.
