PAPA ANGELO reviews his newest addition, a 40" CARAYA THIN LINED ALL MAHOGANY Acoustic Electric guitar from Australia... that he is just delighted with...
@@leansephbishop4309 I'M not a fan of any of the carbon backed rounded things ...never feel quite like a guitar to me...it would be better for you to ask someone who favors this design in an instrument or I"m likely to give you slanted view...
Hi Angelo, thanks for the review. Which ebay seller did you purchase from...Varing, Kookaburra etc.? Since you had a good experience, I wanted to purchase from the same seller. Thanks and have a great day !
i don't believe so in either case...it's distributed from "Down-under" some of the other "Island Manufacturers " are usually their stomping grounds, if you will...and there were many other smaller (parlor and travel) guitars around before this or Taylor (I won the three Taylors myself and it's not a replica of any of them..the baby, the mini, the etc etc... but thanks for your comment (tardy none the less)...folks who paid the measly cost of this were quite satisfied...for what it is.
Is it really (real wood) not lamented wood? I’ve looked at them on eBay and they say all mahogany however on their much more expensive model they specifically state solid top then wood species. I have heard if it doesn’t specifically state “(solid) “mahogany, crdar, or spruce “ top that it’s a laminate. Please respond anyone who owns this model
I believe this one is all laminated wood. They make some that have solid tops with laminated back and sides, but it should say solid top or otherwise it probably isn't. These are fairly typical of Chinese made guitars today. I recommend the lower end Breedlove guitars which are made in China but set up here in the U.S. at the Breedlove factory. They are excellent for the price.
I've bought dozens of guitars over the years and I've never bought one that didn't need some adjustment. It's an individual preference and every guitar is slightly different.
