Wen I did it I use engine oil to prevent the hidrolock other than that it's perfect explanation and tutorial on how to make them

bro i just learned something.. i have same bike and have carb issues.. flat spot at 1/4 throttle.. i mever new about the float needle and that it even pushes in.. im self taught and havnt found much on google.. thanks!!!

Would any of this sync fluid get into the slide diaphragms at all and possibly damage them if the fluid was say 2 cycle oil?

Hey quick question: how far in or how much do you tighten the air fuel mixtures screws before you start to turn them out 2.5 turns... is it till they can’t turn any further? Your response would be very helpful, thanks!

Yes, I turned them in all the way, then out 2.5 turns.

I built a dual battery setup so that I can always start up if one battery runs out of juice. This is a switch so that I can use either battery.

@@JesusChrist-vy4vq Part of my original plan for this bike was a Bugout Bike, so redundancy is a big deal. Some dual sports have kickstart and electric start in case one system fails. Having two batteries is the next best thing. I haven't had any battery issues, this was done for redundancy only.

I think the k&n part number is: KA-2586 at least that is what their website shows www.knfilters.com/air-filters/ka-2586-replacement-air-filter. I think R-0990, may also work. I actually used a knock off from amazon that looks to no longer be available www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JFQVO36/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1#customerReviews. I'm glad you like the videos, more coming soon...

Shit.. I’m a mechanic by trade, I love my motorcycle to death… But I’m not fucking with that carburetor 🤣 that seems way too difficult so many tiny bits n pieces to adjust& Replace and watch for.. I have no idea what half of those parts are.. Will be paying a shop instead that’s a no no for me 💀😂

just buy cheap vacuum gauges. i got 2 for $37 on ebay. this is way to much work
