i used a hand saw then a file and on the inside i used a round file to get rid of the inner edge so no balls make contact, i spun the barrel on my ghetto drill lathe and gorilla tape and used a file to make a slot for the detent lol video is up
What's the difference in the barrel materials Jeff. I think the stock HDR'S are aluminium. I've got HD24s tuning run which is steel. I thought steel would always be preferable, so it isn't damaged with steel projectiles. Any ideas mate? 😊
i have used the carbon fiber on a hdb, it works well, but i think i may have made it too long - my initial tests were not as i expected at all, i also used the whole 22" barrel so im not sure if it was to long, its tough as nails though i can tell you that
so far i got a nice lil increase of around 9 joules with this barrel over the stock barrel and smaller ammo like c riotballs and aluminum balls 682 ID ill let you know as i go, the tuning run barrel is top so far but time will tell :)
