Can you tell me please what did you use between polishing and applying clear coat? Is there anything in the middle? I can’t understand what dis you say at 5:52

Hi great video! I'm in the process of doing this job. I was wondering how you handled the rear glass seal. Did you just tape it off or somehow move it away from the roof so you could clear coat past where the seat covers. I appreciate any/all feedback!

Hi there really appreciated your kind comment. Regarding the front one we have to cut it off and the client got after market one universal. The rear one I put small wire just to left it up a bit and used trim masking tape to hold it up. The front one has to come off to get better finish and no issues in the future. @@mditani One other question - what grit sand paper did you use on your DA to prep the roof for clearcoat? And, what did you use to clean the roof in prep for paint?

Sorry for the late reply. Start with 320 and finish with 800 grit.

@@terrenced6016 hi there. I hope you are well Just normal blower with a high pressure. All the Lacquer will come off if the clear quot already start flake by itself.
