MY CB750 CAFE RACER BUILD Episode 33 CARBS ASSEMBLY I don't want to spoil it and tell you much about this episode. It's full of good tips, that much I can say! ROTHEWALD TOOL SET we using www.louis-moto.co.uk/artikel/...
Good job Deimante. Also to test hold the carburetor bank at different angles, up, down, left and right to test for riding angle leakage. Sure glad the butterfly screws were not staked in as then you don't want to remove them. The also have a forward and aft side to them. Hope we hear Jonesy roar some time soon. Hope you had a good weekend with lot's of sunshine too.
This is what building a bike is about - those carbs don't refurbish themselves and that annoying leak has to be sorted if it's going to run right, not flood (and worst case, catch fire).
Even tho you could see my face worried and disappointed I could not take carbs back. Finding out the issue I’ve learned more then assembling them! 😍 love every struggle of building a motorcycle.
Nice little garage set up for bike fiddling. No fire extinguishers shows Deeej is pretty confident... 😁🤞 You'll be roaring around on Jonesy in no time 🙌
I have a set of six 22mm Dell 'Orto carbs on my customised 1980 Benelli 900 Sei that need stripping and rebuilding, fortunately for me I have a friend who can do the job for me. It's not always what you know but who you know that matters.
@@tomboyabit Thank you for your reply, I'm looking forward to hearing that old Benelli howl through it's six into six exhaust system. That sound is music to my ears, it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand to attention, I love it.
