Super cool video again. Toyplosion was worth it for sure. Found some stuff that i didn't see before. Funny how the German toy market was different back in da days.
I'm so glad there's so many collectors around the world. That save and preserve this stuff. I collect a lot of Ben Cooper vinyl costumes that are vintage.
Great video, as always 😁 But it's a little weird to see a video of an event that I actually attended. I saw most of what you filmed with my own eyes~ haha and even filmed some of the same stuff😆 I totally pumped my fist into the air when I saw that you bought the Los Temblores little bat guy! So cool it is in your collection now. I also had it in my hands and was thinking about it 😅 And of course thanks for including me in the video. It was apleasure meeting you and Matti 😁🤟
Toy Heaven had just gotten higher! I had enjoyed the Toy Hunting at Toyplosion Germany on your channel. No shadow of a doubt, it had many varieties of Vintage Toys and many more. Thanks once again for sharing your Toy Hunting Adventure Ed!
That looked like an awesome show to go to. I wish we had large toy fairs like this in my part of Australia. Loved that TaleSpin plane, excellent condition :) Keep up the great work.
Just like i told PixelDan when he started to edit his videos where he was talking about his day walking through cons or toy stores, that it's much nicer as a viewer to be on the floor walking through said convention or toy store, than listen to the guy talk about his expirience over footage where you have some music playing over.. This is my first viewing of one of your videos, but you have a mixture, at least you show more on the floor action, than Dan seem to do now with his music over the floor footage now a days which is a plus. Dat belgische gebabbel wat er tussen in vliegt is ook best wel hilarisch ;) xD
Ed Best men of the day ! Thx for the short talk with you! The CowBoy Cow looks like the German Milka Cow have a baby with Super Mario 😀The Giant WWF Figures from Flo I had previously owned the character. It's great to see that she's now with you! Nice to meet you and I hope it wasn't the last time we saw each other live! Best regards ! Retro Krempel
Looked like a great show. Also cool seeing Lau. I was actually able to re-color the faded hair of Glimmer from the Princess of Power line thanks to her.
You definitely put a lot of the USA ToyTubers to shame that never venture out of their own country, you travel everywhere. This show looks like it had a lot of quality items.
@@EdsRetroGeekOut Yep the USA is large (Been 2 times myself) but if me and you can do it i am sure they can as well. Dont underplay your achievements :) .
If you see US toy collectors travel out of the US it will typically be to Japan. To be fair the toy hunting for most of what is collected especially shown on these types of channels is US focused. The amount of it is hugely different in the US vs EU. Now for games you will see a lot of those RU-vidrs travel to Essen, it is all about where the product is.
Awesome as always Ed, those custom figures were insane!!!!!!! Man some of these custom figures are better than the mainstream stuff. WHats up Matti how you doin brother
I've got 4 of those Universal Monsters Trolls (Dracula, The Wolfman, The Mummy and The Monster of Frankenstein), bought them in 1993 at Toys ''R'' Us in my hometown in The Netherlands. Also got that Battle Troll Frankenstein's monster, found it last year on a flee market.....
He-man/Skeletor Two pack w' cassette, a Dutch She-ra w' cassette, a Dutch Bravestarr w' cassette... Holy (grails) smokes!? Yep, those Italian guys are the same ones from the Toy Shop on Tour vid. Those guys have an incredible inventory. In the Toy Shop on Tour vid they showed off a 'Slimepit slime' store display containing still 5x sealed jars of 'Slimepit slime'!? And those guys were there too, Great scott!?
That Star Toys WWF Hacksaw Jim Duggan you picked up is a grail here in the states and at least $150-200 in rough shape. I’d imagine the price is a lot better in Germany?
Yeah it was a fun find, got him for way less around 50€ but also because the seller have known each other for years. I had seen them in collections in the UK and always loved the facesculpts so knew I had to make a move 🤓
@EdsRetroGeekOut I saw 👀 Awesome pickup on the Nordor playset. Never seen that before. Looks fantastic. I like that it folds up into a skull planet. Juicy
@@EdsRetroGeekOut No, Toyhio is a different show. if you're looking for the one im talking about is The Great Ohio Toy Show in Xenia. They do it twice a year, once in March and once in October.
Already discovered the both of you in some earlier Toyplosion videos made by German toy enthusiasts. Now I am very much looking forward to, what caught your eye, whether you found some long forgotten Turtle's merch and if you think the German price development is like elsewhere in the world or if 'we' still have some neglected toylines where good deals are easier to make and real bargains are easier to find. On with the video 😊!
Hey Ed, I'm currently trying to find the '91 turtle line from tmnt II: secret of the ooze(the rubber figures) but every time I search I only get the new movie star turtles for results. Is there a particular way I should word it?
The card with the customizers Insta is the image right before that ;) you can admire it in full there. Unfortunatly they were next to a booth that had music so I couldn’t really film there
I saw Mattel Simpsons in your video briefly, that was a nice line on a popular TV property but doesnt get a lot of love. MIMP's however have shot up in price massively this year (But were affordable Pre 2023) .. even Pixel Dan has been featuring them now.
