Vanguard sure has a long history of absolute bangers from some of Japan's best musicians. Wonder if Rika Matsumoto, Nobodyknows+, OxT or Myth & Roid will ever do a Vanguard theme? Maybe a Masaaki Endoh solo number?

As much as I would really want that, if you notice from way back in the V series, they're only getting singers and bands that are affiliated with Bushiroad (Roselia, Agronavis, Call of Artemis, Strawberry Prince, etc). Which is why you don't see old bands like JAM Project (Which did the first Vanguard OP) anymore.

@@hotpocketbagel No, no they are not. Just because Tom-H@ck is in both bands doesn't make them the same. OxT has Masayoshi Ōishi while Myth & Roid has hotaru and KIHOW (formerly Mayu Maeshima) Not even to mention the two bands have different styles as well. Just look at Overlord: Myth & Roids' Voracity feels more like a character song for the bug girl than something that fits the feel of the show like OxT's songs. Myth & Roid's batsh(t insanity is better suited for Tanya, Re:Zero and Cautious Hero than Overlord

@@TFO28 Strawberry Prince were never Bushiroad in any stretch of the imagination, not even sponsored by them. They're an big idol group formed by a bunch of utaite and I'd imagine Bushiroad brought them on to attract a new audience.
