@@WendyJHaney You’re welcome. We had a family if young cardinals this past spring. Their coloring was very different from the parents. So I just did some reading. The beaks of the young are gray or gray/black, but as they mature to adults, the beaks become orange or very often even red!! Thought it was interesting!
Great video Wendy. I’m in NC and state bird or not, who doesn’t love a cardinal? Being fairly new at quilting, I really appreciate your great detail . Many thanks.
Way cool on NC state bird, I had no idea. But the Cardinal is one of my favorite birds!!! Here in Tennessee we see so many more than I saw back in Minnesota. So glad you are finding my videos helpful. Thanks so much for watching!!
I made two very small ones last year for special Christmas cards…..think the finished block was 5 x 5. Tricky, but turned out good. I got the idea and scaled it from a stained glass cardinal I saw on Pinterest.
Will do, but might not be in until later this weekend as I'm out of town. My apologies for not having that ready before this video went live. What's a whirlwind of activities to have this ready and still get out of town. 🤪
the finished square is 10", and each individual block in the square is 2.5" unfinished. Hope that helps. Drop me an email and I can send you the color layout/template. Still working on additional instructions.
I'm unsure of what corner you're talking about, That's the only pinwheel is in the upper right corner and it is correct. Am I not seeing something else?? Thanks for watching
🤪😂😱 well buggers!!! Funny what we don't see when we're in a hurry. I am now looking at my finished table topper and two of the blocks have the pinwheel's wrong in the corner!!! 😱 Thanks so much for catching that so now I can fix it before I quilt it. 💕
I think she seems to over enuciate because she is slowing down her speech pattern. Would much rather have the carefully spoken word than the mumbling you get with other content creators. Especially on this type of video when you are following along.
