I used to be bitter, but because of the spiritual guidance I have been adding Pope Francis, Archbishop Dennis Schnur, Bishop John Iffert in my daily rosary intentions and my evening prayers. Even Christ asked us to pray for our enemies. Thankfully this priest corrected me in my thinking. As to the Roman Rite and you mentioned you are a student of history, watch Mass of the Ages Part 2. You will be amazed at how much has been removed in the mass of Paul VI. It’s astonishing. I want to worship Christ with ALL the prayers of the saints of old in the most dignified way possible. The TLM and NO Mass both offer the same efficacy of the Holy Mass. You look for outward form and appearance yet look at the rebellion in your heart towards the Church and the NO Mass. Jesus was obedient to His Father even unto death, but Catholics don't see and hear what they want and disobey. Our job is to trust God and pray for the Holy Father and for Rome it isn't to police it like we do in our government in our political society!

Those who did the recruiting were choosing those who would 'fit in' to the new future. Years ago in the civil service human resources, part of the recruiting process was called 'personal suitability'. I'm wondering if the recruitment program for seminaries wasn't focusing on a new suitability. Young priests of 25 years ago would now have their own parishes. In other words, the Francis group had this planned for this to happen at this very moment.
