Great video. I love the bows you made with iridescent ribbon. When your gal called to ask me if I wanted those bows I was so excited to get them. Didn’t care if the spools were used,getting the already made bows made my week. Thanks Debbie bows which are awesome. I might order men one of those cutters.

SO glad that you were pleased with the ribbon, Pam. I think these ribbons are just beautiful! YOu can't go wrong getting the cutter pillar. Both the Crop Version and the Pro (Tabel top) and the Crop versions are great. The primary differences between the two are the size of the cutting deck. (12x12) the silver ruler (easier to read) and the drawer beneath the Pro. The warranty and everything else is the same. Deb

I found your video very helpful, should I ever need to do any maintenance on my table top cutter. I've been using my big girl (or boy) you choose . . . for about 8 or 9 years now, with no issues at all. I have taken a rag and cleaned the metal cutting edge to remove residue from my projects and replaced the batteries a few times. It is one of the best investments I've ever made and it was nice to know that Cutterpillar will replace a blade, should I ever need one. I use mine, almost daily and can't imagine crafting without it.

When I received mine it was scratched on the metal part .it doesn’t cut straight now

Where did you buy it, Bobbi? I hope you immediately reported the scratch o the table. If it is a recent purchase, I recommend you report it now. If it is not cutting straight, I also recommend aking sure that the bar is tight. Debbie

How do you measure cutting less than 1 inch.? There are no marking.

It is true that there are no markings below 1" because of the metal plate. I use the screw holes to guage the spacing. At the center of the screw holeyou are at 1/2". It is right at 1/8" to the outside of the screw so I can measure 3/8" and 5/8th inch. For quarter and 1/8" I can eyeball it based on comparisons to the position of the screw hole. It actually works pretty well since we seldom use measures less than 1". More commonly I use this technique to make sure my paper is straight when trimming a smaller piece.

how is it at cutting angle cuts?

Hi Karen, This cutter does not have marks for angle cuts, but because you have good visibility if the cutting table and surface, I don't have any trouble following marks or cutting corner to corner.
