This was right on time, I literally just finished a conversation with someone about these exact feelings I was having. Then I turned on my computer to look for jobs and check emails and I saw a message from you. I am going to try these 3 steps starting today. I really get depressed thinking about this.

Hey Linda, thanks for touching on this topic. This is close to my heart as I am in this situation - feeling left behind in my career. Made career transition in my early 30s a decade ago and my career progression is not that great. Right now, I am pursuing a personal development program which includes leadership so I hope this goes on track. Resetting my mind that its gonna be ok and being on my own time zone is hard. My peers are becoming Directors, Co-Founders etc.... Your video really does help to put things in perspective.

Great video! I love that you emphasize the importance of clearing your mind first. It's really challenging to get clarity on the future amidst the busyness of the day to day. Getting clarity and space first is so important.

Love this advice - I normally right in my phone - it was so great! Being able to articulate your thoughts and look at them from a different angle - one of the Technics in psychology, that saves lives. Instead of sharing stuff with family and friends, it's better to write stuff down. That way you don't feel you are giving away part of yourself to someone who will never understand anyway. Peace!

I feel behind in my career whenever i see my friends excelling and im still in the same level when i joined my company 11yrs ago.but everytime i think of the pressure and stress and over worked theyre going through, i thought im okay where i am right now.but i also think i can do something else, like my real purpose in life.right now im in a stage of letting go of all my pain, forgiving myself and re-gaining my self and re-evuating what do i really like to do when i decide to step out of my comfort zone.

I couldn't agree more how thoughts/mind can sabotage our success. The "ungripping" process is such a liberating experience and that's how I wish people to really go through to grow more. I did a video to summarise career misconceptions. Some of my points reinforces this things.. It's really about ownership.

Have you ever tried - Chiveard Discovering Potential Framework (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a smashing one off guide for finding your true calling and achieving success without the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate at last got cool results with it.

Hi Linda, I’m an avid viewer of your career life strategy and I find the tips you share very helpful. However, may I ask how do you handle a new position when your hands are “tight-bound”? meaning you are expected to perform a certain duty however your freedom is very limited. You have to coordinate everything from your boss. Plus, all my co-workers are uncooperative. They don’t to teach they just expect you to deliver the results 😣 I came fr a totally diff background (career-wise as an exec asst in a sales comp). While the current position I’m handling (training officer for HR) My exposure is very limited and there’s no proper training. And I’m expected to perform.Sometimes, I’m wondering whether I made the right move, I miss my old job.

I need help, I was recently told after 5 years they will let me go from my job. My mind won't stop spinning on what to do. My last day will be on 8/27/18. I don't even want to talk to my family yet. I'm so worried.

My supervisor said it was bcs i do not 'stand out'.. but i know she just does not like me 🙄 what is ur advice to face boss/supervisor that do not like u or do not favor u?

I like your videos but the reality is entirely different. Management is full of people without any vision or management skills. They like people who sit down and do their work rather than asking for raise or promotion. Also, some companies have opportunities in moving around laterally but not moving up. Also depends on budgets, culture of the company etc. Also women are expected to have a different set of skills compared to men.

Your videos are too long. I think shortening them to 5 min and below would attract more ppl. It’s hard to watch an 8-9 min video on a topic like this bec theres a lot of info to digest! Terrific videos overall- love your content and your presence.
