I was feeling the same way but being in Scotland I had to wait. She's capable as all heck, stol no, but shes at least as good as her fsx version. Takes getting used to with the big nose and kinda flumpy handling but its accurate.

She got it for free so I think I can guess before I even watch this.

@calumlittle9828 she has been critical of free stuff before, if it's shit she'll tell us. It's a port of the Carenado one she flew in p3d, and she's been pining for this release since her first video. If anything, I would think she'd be extra critical of this model given her familiarity and love of it. Don't be so cynical.

The entire point of first look reviews is that it’s an initial look… not an expert review, I’ve never claimed to be an expert or that it give in depth reviews. There’s little I’m qualified to speak in authority about.

@@AvAngelBut the problem with literal 1st look videos, where the creator is fumbling around in complete ignorance of how the thing's supposed to work, is that they are USELESS. People watch videos about new products to decide if the product is any good or riddled with bugs. When the video creator doesn't know how to operate the plane, then viewers can't tell if the plane is broken or if the difficulty was due to ignorance. As a result, I have stopped watching any videos that have "first look" in the title, especially if they come out on release day. I know these videos will tell me nothing other than judging the sounds and graphics. EVERY flightsimmer--that is, you, me, and everybody else here--is TOTALLY qualified to judge whether an add-on airplane is a good product. REGARDLESS of lack of real life experience. As in, the documentation /in-game checklists can get the thing running properly, its various systems seem to work properly, there are no glaring issues with ground handling or the flight model, there are an adequate number of liveries / versions of acceptable visual and aural quality, etc. This is NOT judging whether ANYTHING about the plane is realistic, which few of us can do with any authority. But we can all tell if the flight performance seems appropriate and fairly matches POH numbers. All of the above info is what viewers want to know. And all of this can be obtained by the video creator after several flights in the new plane. So resist the urge to film your 1st time in a new cockpit. Take the thing for a few short flights to get the feel of it, find any obvious problems so you can point them out, etc. Like I said, I've quit watching release-day "1st look" videos so you're not getting my clicks for them. I'm assuming many others feel the same way.

That's not that often actually... and I always intended to show the first experience of an aircraft, a honest look at how the experience will be for other users... if I struggle, you likely will too. Often there is no manual, or the manual lacks in certain regards leaving you fumbling... that is an experience people do need to understand sometimes... and expect. I go over manuals, I check aircraft and test them, i do my work, but its not perfect... what am I meant to do? have a hundred hours on each ship before i do a first look? I've never criticized a plane due to my ignorance... i've never claimed something was 'bad' because I couldn't find a switch, that isn't fair. This aircraft in particular, i have hundreds of hours in, its going to be different... thankfully it lived up to expectations. Same with the beaver and DC3s. Most I do not. And trust me, you have not seen true fumbling.

@@AvAngel Out of curiosity, in flight do they only open a smidge (airflow forcing them toward closed) or do they pop wide open (totally unrealistic) ? I crave immersion! 👍

Oh she's not pretty, she's a work truck :D Rollrate is a bit slow but its a big wing on her, this one the power is pretty on par.
