Well after years of creating I've a bunch of favorite vst's which I like to blend to push out that Carf sound ;) Sorry but as most here know, I'm not sharing my secret recipe ;) But you cawn learn more about the history and how I ended up here in the little book *level up with me* available for free at my bandcamp store.
I like your songs. But you should expand into feelings of music besides thrill. I personally believe that if you tone down the quality of a game's art or music can make it feel special. But it will get pretty boring if all the music in a game is focused on thrill. You need to make more sad music, Thought provoking music, more inspirational music.
I hear you dude. For me right now this kind of megaman style is what Ive tried to explore since the last albums. Before I started 8bit there have been lots of styles and tempos. There is a second account callex the basement which is all my non 8bit sounds and has various genres. For now I'm exploring a bit more dancefloor compatible style but the rock is what really lets my melodies shine the way I like it.
