I had an interesting one on Friday, 26-JAN-24. I took a local from Pryor, OK to here in Ponca City, OK. The trip was only 100 miles or so direct, paying $200 (gross to the carrier. I get 80% minus minus). I get to the GPS coordinates (a pump station), but nobody is there. I call the receiver and he tells me it is supposed to be delivered on Monday! Damn! Long story short, my dispatch negotiated a three day layover paying $1150. What a screw up. So I took a mini-vacation.
