doone dude, just let them be happy with themselves. I know so many ppl who hate being Australian and idk why, but their lack of national pride is quite disappointing
Can you please spell yea with an H as it is supposed to be in Australian English instead of this American internet shorthand? Because I live in the town of Yea, Victoria. Sometimes I get confused. You know what I mean Yeah mate? Yeah na, yeah na, yeah. Yay!
He didnt dumb down. He did that same set in Australia. Think he gets more laughs though in Australia and here in England (and rest of UK) cos this is typical of our humour. I love him.
That add he did years ago when he's swinging around on a Hills Hoist and says "don't tell mum, she'll kill me", still makes me laugh just thinking of it. He's a bloody ripper old Carl.
The Yanks seem to love the Aussie accents. Actually heaps of countries love the Aussie accents. When I was in Ireland, I found the Irish just adored the accent, but alot of Yanks I met there also loved it. But I also met French people there, even people from Egypt and Spain and other places and they all immediately recognized my Aussie accent and had to remark on it. I always thought the Aussie accent was the only normal accent and any other accent was weird. But I do love an Irish accent and Irish women
He's great cause he doesn't force the joke like some comedians. Just takes the rudimentry, everyday life things that we have and it's enjoyable. Not over the top like alot of the bad yank comedians. Just there!
That part about talking while yawning and getting spit on had me crying. Great stuff too relatable. I always thought that shit in my head about being spat on but worrying about embarrassing the other person🤣
Most definately. He does more jokes on the spot by involving the audience and joking about them. Picked out about 4 people out of the crowd to speak to and about. Also he spoke alot about his Mum which he rarely does since its always been focused on his Dad. A really good night overall. Plus he played the guitar for a while which was new. Worth your money :)
My friends and I love Carl Barron. Once we were sitting around playing sing star and one my my friends says "I'm farting" I swear I have never laughed as hard
Met him in real life filming the movie "Manny Lewis", had no idea who he was at the time, except that he was bloody hilarious. It wasn't until a year later I watched one of his comedy movies and I was like, "Holy crap it's Carl!!"
Carl is the best least problematic comedian of all time and I think it's cos he's actually funny. No wonder his shows stand the test of time. Love ya Carl
What a legend IV noticed he used like 3 of the same jokes he used when he first went on tv but makes me proud to be Aussie I live in Bundaberg Queensland Australia
