I'm not Aussie, but it was the "too easy, Mate" at the end of looking where he needed to go that did me in. I mean it was hilarious up until that point anyway, but I had to play back the part I missed from laughing too hard.
Danny Bhoy is one of the best stand up comedians I have ever seen, love all of his shows, he does a killer Australian accents and his take on small social bullshit is just spot on. Keep it up Danny.
This is the first time I am hearing/watching him. I had to pull him up to make sure he is still with us. He is wonderful, and extremely talented❣️ He actually reminds me of Robin Williams with his seamless flow between characters.
Good comedian, but if has to take the piss out of a religion, like everybody else he chooses the church, leaving well alone Islam, i stop watching after that, they are all the same, scared.
Interestingly the Scottish thistle symbol is believed to go back a long way. The stories say that a village was warned of an incoming viking attack when one of them stood on a thistle and swore, alerting the guards.
Boots were extremely expensive, only the rich ones could afford them and even then they tended to be soft leather, a really dry thistle spine could have pierced right through.
That's interesting considering that the Scottish thistle is not our national symbol, perhaps the Vikings was attacked by our original symbol , the UNICORN !!!
***** my brother, mum and i watched this on a plane. not a good idea it was too much effort trying to not burst out laughing. i could hear other people struggling too so i can only guess they found this gig
thrice bang Oh he was hilarious! At one point a lady got up to leave (restroom perhaps) And he yells: "Hey where do you think you're going?" when she doesn't answer he hopped down from the stage and chased her! Then he couldn't get back on so someone in the front row had to give him a boost! Would love to see him again!
Saw him a a small local venue on his current tour. He is so clever at ad libbing and audience interaction when he is just 3 feet in front of you was great. Very funny - and seems to be a nice guy to boot.
I am a Yank, but I can testify that his presentation of Brisbane at last call is accurate and true! Although I seem to recall the bar is closing at 3 AM.
Dylan moran is i think irish he seems drunk like the old dudly moore ARTHUR MOVIES, BUT HES NOT DRUNK!WELL MAYB A WEE BIT HAVE U SEEN HIM.chk him out,lm the ole expat yank in asia who has to laugh to stay alive, from all over d us and the world on my last legs.wasnt that bagpipe number great,i guess u know hes multi culcural momba and edinbouro .bad speller huh enjoy
There are few good years since I 'm looking for Danny's shows, watching his evolution in show business; he is exceptionally talented. He is so special in working with each idea his presenting , his monologues are much more than the comedians do ....I am sure he will make a BIGTIME-drama actor, on the best world known theatres and OSCAR winning movie character. I wish Danny the best all the ways in personal and career life !
Perfect ….perfect timing, audience ,gig! Hilarious …stories and accents.Perfect!!! 😆watched about 20 times now…can’t stop laughing!!!!! Well done pure dead brilliant. 🤣😅🥲☺️😉🏴❤️
In my 12 years of being on this planet Danny Bhoy is the only comedian who can make me laugh so hard I cry so I thank you Danny Bhoy for making my days brighter during quarantine😀 When Danny said "a word that I haven't said for more than 20 years" I thought it was a bad word but nope it was the word mom😂 I was dieing laughing during this part
Brilliant just brilliant, such a good comedian, Danny Bhoy really leaves a great impression and always leaves his audience laughing 👏👏😂🙌 I laughed the whole way through this special
amc3 yep love him he's in my top five fave comedians for sure Daniel Schloss is another Scottish comedian I like rhod Gilbert for the welsh and of course my cousin tom Gleeson but he's Aussie rowan Atkinson has always made me laugh 😂 prefer U.K. Comics over Americans maybe it's cause the Celtic sense of humour that the Irish and Scots share is close to our sense of humour here I find American comedians too brash and don't amuse me at all !
I think it might be a money maker to print some region 1 DVD versions, so we in the US and Canada can enjoy sending him some royalties for his work! Thanks so much to whomever posted this concert on youtube! That's the only way we can see him. Slainte!
I feel like if this guy didn't go on any tangents, the show would be 10 minutes long. Then again, his tangents were funny as hell, so I'm not complaining.
Recovering from my liver deciding it doesn't play nice with me. I've had surgery, babies, unmentionable medical crises, but this, well...never felt this bad. This guy gave me the smile I need to get through another shitty day.
Me too! Needed to listen & see this very funny man to help cheer my mood! So glad I found this. Whoever put this up for me to find on my iPad - THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! ❤️
It's funny how time changes things. There were black comedians. And white comedians. And Danny Bhoy was the novelty "Indian Scottish" commedian. It was like a novelty. Now he's a comedian with Indian heritage, basically a Scot with a tan. We have been spoiled in recent years by so many diverse comedians on the scene that someone who is slightly not-white really isn't a novelty anymore. And that's so great. Danny is still one of the best to do it.
Oh come on... i came here to ask the other poster "who on earth cares how many comedians you like?" But sure enough, CHERYL was all over it, just _too_ curious about the begged question to leave it be. And then she never even got a reply. How depressing - I'm wrong and Cheryl will never get to hear who those 3 comedians were...
Kath Casey oh well put give him time it has to be the right project for him don't want him in something that doesn't suit his style of comedy which is very observational and typically Celtic it is a sense of. Humour they share with the Irish and know it's where my sense of humour comes from my Irish ancestry ! It's part sarcasm , dry wit , bit of self depracation and the ability not to take yourself too seriously in other words laugh at yourself !
Watched many times....the gig moment was spot on...timing,accents,stories and an audience who were all tuned in! Perfect!! Thanks for being there and recording it all Danny....best wishes from a fellow Scotsman. Pure dead brilliant as we say at home!! :-) Lol
