Always played hard, tough and often crossed the line and he never changed one bit!. However he is one of the nicest, most polite and respected guys off the field I ever met.
My grandmother loved Ditterich cos of the Protection he provided against the likes of Collingwood and Richmond. He's gotta be the dirtiest player ever ...not even Dipper lead with his elbows as much as Ditterich did... I really miss the Tribalism...
@@Magpie_Mark92 Haha, hi Maggie. Balme's recollection of that game on Open Mike is pretty funny. It's amazing the things Carl got away with. Even if the field umpire missed some of those swinging elbows you'd think a boundary or goal ump would've seen at lesst some of it.

I only say that to include Fab Phil in a group of, shall we say guys at the more physical end of the spectrum, that have missed Flags. I was actually thinking about that before you posted, and about how Carl missed 66, Brown 74, and even Terry missing Chelsea's Champion's League win in 2008 due to suspension. There are plenty of others too...
