I swear to God, folks, I predicted this friendship after the post fight interview of the two at ringside after the second fight (you Brits really know how to put on a fight, btw.. we dont get those kinds of interviews in the States). Carl had nothing but respect for George at that point, but George looked completely devastated despite a second brilliant showing. At that point, I turned to my best friend and swore the two men would become great friends AFTER George became champion, which i knew he would after a little adjustment period. Most men couldnt come back from that kind of disappointment (see Bute, for an example -- he was never the same after getting Froch'd), but I thought George was mentally strong enough to come back. Happily, I was right (for a change). Anyway, it was a privilege to watch you two in the ring, and a great treat any time y'all get together outside the ring. Huge respect, men.

So good to see you, such good friends. You both needed each other to make the fight as big as it was. I got so emotionally involved being a Froch fan and felt physically sick for both fights so to see you two much closer now gives me some closure. You're both world champions and deservedly so.

Loved both these boys but have to say Froch is one of my favourite boxers so wanted him to win the fights with Groves but as soon as it was done I was back to cheering on Groves & was so happy for him when he got his world title…Although I fully expected it to come a lot sooner than it did,he was a terrific boxer and seems a really nice chap. Really insightful & honest look into how both men felt back then. Love to see other boxers do more of this. Great work,keep em coming 🥊

Wholesome video. Never could I imagine that these two top-boxers who went through two ring wars and hated each other's guts for years, not only could get along but become friends. Froch is one of my favorite fighters, old-school, hard as nails, heavy hands and extreme determination to the very last bell ring. Groves had a terrific jab, also carried serious punching power and was a master at trash-talking who could get under anybody's skin during press conferences. Thank you for bringing us one of the biggest fights in recent memory, and it was a *domestic* one, which really speaks volumes.
