Great Demo Pete.... I just bought a Dr. Z SRV-65 head and now looking for a verb to go along with it. 2011....crazy how time flies. Thank man, tones and playing are top notch as usual. Be well!
After 11 years still a great demo and a very young Pete 😊 I got me the Headroom today and you again helped me to decide 👍 So this is No. 15 of reverb pedals on my shelf...
@user-vi7wi6de9r The Headroom is an analog Reverb, so it sounds like a real spring reverb should sound. But i can't decide if it does sound right to your ears.
@user-vi7wi6de9r I also have the Surfybear and i owned the Whale. I think you are doing well with the Headroom. Surfybear is good for strong Surfsound Reverb and the Whale didn't make it long on my shelf, i didn't like the sound.
@user-vi7wi6de9r Ok, then i would recommend the Headroom, i also have the Surfybear and i had the Whale. Surfybear is good for heavy Surf Music reverb. I wasn't impressed by the Whale so it didn't make it long on my shelf. Btw. I own about 10+ reverb pedals and there aren't many with realistic spring reverb emulation.
You sound AMAZING. Carl Martin should put out a disclaimer that buying their pedal won’t get the buyer to sound like you do :D BTW the reverb pedal seems very nice.
@malamutelocomotive It's a Custom Audio PT100, his signature model (It's written in the subtitles at the beginning of the video, almost missed it too, too busy listenning!!)
Ahhh this Pete guy is killing me with that tone....although he gives wonderful examples for songs to learn....love this dude!! and down to earth..not like a Yngwie Malmsteen lesson who is like,,"YOu assholes can't play this becuase I am the greatest, but here it is slow" (and it's like faster than I could ever play.....
Hi Pete! I've got a pair of questions about this pedal. How goes with a Marshall tube amp's overdrive? What about put this pedal in the FX loop? (I've got a custom amp that is based on JTM45 and SLP (a mix of both) and was made with a FX loop) Thank you!
@akkeso Actually I have- I'll be making it available soon- check my Facebook band page (search Facebook for "guitar nerd" or "pete thorn" and hit the like button.. thanks!!
