The REAL spring reverb! Wow sounds amazing..I love the smoothness and clarity of the headroom and the ability to have a light reverb for clean rhythm and drenched for haunting solos.

Love how it blends so nicely in with the mix as a whole. Sounds like a really musical and usable reverb. Also i can imagine that the fact that you can switch between the two modes furthers the usability in a gigging situation. Simply put it seems super usable!

I absolutely love how dead simple it is. Level and tone for two verb settings. So much crazy digital features on the market, and while they do some amazing things, it's so easy to get into our own heads with it and over complicate the effect. This forces you to keep it simple. More or less verb, brighter or darker verb, get to playing. The result is a fantastic sounding space that you didn't have to program half your day away to get. Great stuff from carl Martin as usual!

Simplicity and usefulness sums it up. While being an actual spring reverb is cool, the additional channel helps out a lot with live situations where you want 2 different settings much like what was talked about in the video. Good stuff!

So many cool features about this pedal such as the spring lock BUT I have to say for me, the two different reverb channels for both lead and rythmn is just inspired and more importantly that spring reverb has to be one of the most musical and inspiring tones I've heard. Sounds truly awesome!!

First off, the tone is superbly sweet! The options of A or B settings is great, and so is the remote switching. The fact that you can lock it down, is an indicator of how well thought out it is.

I love the fact that there are so many different options, and more than one footswitch to choose from those options. that, and the reverb effect is so lush and full sounding.

Fantastic sounding pedal! I've always been very impressed with Carl Martin gear. I think my favorite thing (besides how it sounds) is how you can lock & unlock the spring. Brilliant!

My favorite thing... About the video: Descending camera angle in a dramatic field... as if this mighty pedal just crash landed outside Smallville. About the playing: The Mayer-esque harmonized lead, and before that, the swells. I didn't realize this could handle the swells so nicely! About the pedal: Lit'rally everything. That thing is the balls. Phenomenal piece of kit for the studio or some a small combo amp with no reverb. Best of luck everyone! Love your videos, man.

Sweet Man! Being able to lock down the springs is a great feature. I've had a couple amps with true spring reverb and had a couple mishaps during carting them around. (besides being a clutz, tripping and putting my foot through the front of my combo amp) Great review!

I love the fact that it has two separate reverbs that you can toggle between. I love a certain amount of reverb for my base tone but want to get a wetter sound at certain parts. This is the perfect pedal for that!

What a great natural sounding reverb pedal! I think what makes this pedal a little more unique from other reverb pedals besides having two presets is the 'remote bypass foot switcher,' because it allows you to put this pedal in your rack and you don't have to worry about kicking it around on stage, or making room on your pedal board for it. Very nice touch!

Great tone and love how much you can shape the sound with the multiple knobs. Multiple channels that can be switched easily by foot is also a big plus.

Absolutely the locking mechanism. I've always loved using spring reverbs and as I gig more and more that is ALWAYS the first thing to go, which is especially heart breaking before a gig when there's nothing I can do. It's come to the point where I've been forced to use digital reverbs, even though they don't sound as good as spring :( I absolutely love that locking mechanism!! I'm a young musician so repair bills on spring reverbs are just brutal and that looks like it would solve my problems! Thank you :)

Ive always been the person to just sit down with a clean tone and some reverb and just pick around. I really love how it has two seperate reverbs and the lock is just genius. That said, I would absolutley adore this pedal!

I like the fact that it is all analogue. You can hear it so clearly. Reminds me of my amp's spring reverb, but having way more control over it.

I love how it has 2 channels of reverb , that opens up a world of playability and less tap dancing . I have to say next to the fender 65' twin reverb this is the next best answer for reverb .

i like the functionality of the two seperate channels as it were. as you described you can dial in more or less for rhythm and lead. and the fact that its a ligit spring reverb in a pedal. if its gunna be reverb its gotta be a spring! cheers robert ! your a sick player!

Best feature, oh my gosh. It's very nearly the two 'channel's of reverb, but I think it's the ability to lock down the spring. I've lost so many spring 'verbs through travel when gigging!

I love the spring lock feature for traveling. As much as I want to ensure it isn't damaged in travel, I also like to occasionally "knock" a reverb unit to get a little fun crash. Thanks for the demo.

I love the 2 channel capability for just the same reason. A little for rhythm and a touch more for lead to make it pop! Simplicity is another awesome and under-rated quality which is very much appreciated by us old school boomers still rockin' in the free world.

The thought of having more than one option of the same reverb (rhythm - lead) is genius. The sound quality is pure too. I currently have no reverb pedal on my board and would love to win this Carl Martin Headroom Reverb. I know any thing they make is built like a tank. Good luck everyone !!!

What I like about this pedal is that its reverb is so natural, not like the other reverbs out there in the market. Changing reverb modes is also made easy with this pedal, with just 1 tap and you can switch from Small Room Reverb to Large Room Reverb real quick. Two thumbs up for this pedal. 🖒😁🖒

I think this pedal's simplicity, whilst ticking all the right boxes is its shining light. Everybody loves a real spring reverb and to have two independent variants at the click of a switch just opens up some great tonal opportunities.

Having two reverbs is insanely cool. It's great to have a mild reverb and a more atmospheric one that you can switch, no one likes to bend down to tweak pedals in the middle of a show or something, so very handy. Love these kind of pedals. Also the way it looks is dope! I love fancy looking pedals, much cooler than having a bunch of standard pedals on your board!

for me the best part would be the dual reverb option with a level control for each as i like to run a lot more reverb on my clean sound and just a touch on my drive sound. Simple yet amazingly versatile. Great video sir.

Great demo Robert :) The rig with those two guitars, the REV and the Carl Martin sounds fantastic! Love the subtlety of the pedal - Reverb can overwhelm really easily, hence when I mix music and add reverb I add quite a dark reverb that sits nicely and gives ambience without interfering with the original signal. Love Carl Martin pedals!

I like being able to have different level settings. Like you I think it would be extremely useful, plus the overall tone of the reverb is just beautiful.
