Thanks Tim. Ive not tried it through a Fender style amp, although I did have my Mesa on the clean channel, so I'd imagine it'll work fine. And yes the damping control is a god send for tightening up flabby low end. I highly recommend this pedal!

Thanks David. I tend not to use gates, I removed hiss on audio tracks using IZotope RX9. In a live situation I use the gate on my Captor X. There’s always going to be hiss with higher gain, but learning to control your guitar I think is the best ways to tackle noise.

Yeah its a push pull on the volume. Didn't change the sound at all, but I am planning on replacing the bridge pup with an Arcane 78

I’ve only had a short amount of time with the Pinnacle, but I didn’t like it that much. I preferred the Panama and the 5150

Hi Abel, Ive not had much time with the Pinnacle. My go too is the 5150, I have two of them, BUT, the Panama does something different, and the Damping control really tightens up the low end. Both the 5150 and Panama have unique controls, both are great!

I bought today the panama in Daiam for $110.000 pesos (i write in english for the people of the chanel who speak english) i think the evh 5150 is more a full distortion pedal but this can be used a overdrive too... and that is what i need because i use the distortion of mi amp who has a beautifull lead hi gain but i think this pedal Will give to my sound a beautifull Brown plexi super lead color push to my final sound! MXR 5150

The guitar isn’t an expensive guitar, it’s a Mexican made guitar around $1000 mark, so strip away the paint job and there’s you cheap guitar. It also has exactly the same pickup in it as the budget Wolfgang. I agree a lot of demos are useless, in my hands this will sound completely different to someone else, but isn’t the demo just to give people an idea of a sound so they may want to check it out?
