Carl Palmer is a master drummer! Look at how strong he plays at 60+ years of age. Bravo!

I saw Carl's Legacy open for Yes a few days ago. Carl's band was outstanding! Powerful and very talented. Even without vocals. I loved it!!

great music still and well performed also by those two younger virtuosities :-) - 3 wonderful musicians performing great music.

Good to see Carl's still got it. Being only 45, I was lucky to see ELP during their Black Moon tour. Then, I saw Asia with their original line-up back in 2010. Great performance! It's about as good as it could get without a darn good keyboard player. I honestly haven't heard a younger keyboard player that's anywhere near as good as Keith was in his prime. They all lack his finesse.

"Tarkus" [I. Eruption] [Instrumental] [II. Stones of Years] Has the dawn ever seen your eyes? Have the days made you so unwise? Realize, you are Had you talked to the winds of time Then you'd know how the waters rhyme Taste of wine How can you know where you've been? In time you'll see the sign And realize your sin Will you know how the seed is sown? All your time has been overgrown Never known Have you walked on the stones of years? When you speak, is it you that hears? Are your ears full? You can't hear anything at all [III. Iconoclast] [Instrumental] [IV. Mass] The preacher said a prayer Save every single hair on his head He's dead The minister of hate had just arrived too late to be spared Who cared? The weaver in the web that he made The pilgrim wandered in Commiting every sin that he could So good The cardinal of grief was set in his belief he'd saved From the grave The weaver in the web that he made The high priest took a blade To bless the ones that prayed And all obeyed The messenger of fear is slowly growing, nearer to the time A sign The weaver in the web that he made A bishops rings a bell A cloak of darkness fell across the ground Without a sound The silent choir sing and in their silence Bring jaded sound, harmonic ground The weaver in the web that he made [V. Manticore] [Instrumental] [VI. The Battlefield] Clear the battlefield and let me see All the profit from our victory You talk of freedom, starving children fall Are you deaf when you hear the season's call? Were you there to watch the earth be scorched? Did you stand beside the spectral torch? Know the leaves of sorrow turned their face Scattered on the ashes of disgrace Every blade is sharp; the arrows fly Where the victims of your armies lie We're the blades of grass and arrows rain Then there will be no sorrow Be no pain [VII. Aquatarkus] [Instrumental]

Paul Bielatowicz. I was lucky to see CP perform live in my city a few years ago. At that time the lineup was: CP himself, Mark King (of Level 42 fame), and the guy I had not heard about at that time - the incredible Paul bielatowicz, who looked like a high school student, although 29 at the time. I think he stunned the audience wıth his playing even more than Carl, as everyone was well aware of Carl's abilities, but no one knew about Paul's.

If any UK based ELP fan guitarist/vocalists who can play & sing Greg's parts would like to get together and have a go then please message me here via RU-vid. I have a lot of their numbers sorted on keyboards and also have a drummer waiting..! Hope to hear from some of you soon... Raffy.

Great musicians, but ELP music without keyboards does not make sense...

+Francis Banks When playing to small audiences its a wise move to keep the overhead down .

Sure it does. He is just trying to keep the music and memory alive. You cannot bring back Emerson or Lake. But he is willing to put the music out there and has done so successfully.

Carl's drumming just as good as ever, a nice effort but I'm afraid without Keith and Greg it just doesn't cut it for me, sorry guys, stick to your own material, there will only ever be one "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
