"INTO THE MAELSTROM" aka "The Pancha Suite" instrumental by drummer Carl Palmer and Stray Dog guitarist Snuffy Walden with Back Door members Colin Hodgkinson on bass and Ron Aspery on sax. Recorded circa 1973-1976.
This is a better recording than on CP's Anthology , I have this quality recording on cassette and it's labelled ' Crimzoid' he's using the steel kit on this and Back Door guys are backing , so probably 1975 /76 recording. Great upload.
Thanks for the info! Both Stray Dog and Back Door supported ELP for their BSS tour, hence the circa 1973 date. But later could work too, although to my mind 73-ish makes more sense.
