Carlos' response to the last question was impressive. It shows his maturity. Losing keeps you humble and motivates you to improve on your game. Well done, Carlos!
Excellent attitude and perspective Carlos, that makes you a winner. Yes, losses are good if it brings out the very best in you to make you a great Champion for the coming game. Go Carlos go! Great game for you again to be a Champion. Be strong and be healthy!
Man Juanita Quintana, that is an excellent comment. Carlos is completely correct losses can be good if they help you improve in the future. And he just lost like he said he didn’t die.
Carlos already possesses a maturity level way beyond his tender years. He doesn't disappoint either. He handles the press like a veteran, as he handles himself on court.
It's all about perspective and seeing the picture on the game, on life. Alcaraz is not someone who can't see the forest for the trees. Good attitude will help him win the next match. Vamos, Carlito.
People should remember that Novak skipped Monte Carlo in 2011 after winning the sunshine double because of exhaustion. It's not easy at all transitioning after 2-3 weeks of gruelling hardcourt matches to clay without a break and practice on clay. He needs more clay court practice as does anyone else.
I was incredibly disappointed by his loss. He has a great attitude and took it better than I did! (; I just hope he can do better in Barcelona. I will always root for him no matter what! (:
Nice guy, wish him all the best. He was ready to analyze his match didn't think he played badly just a loss part of life. Next. Why did nobody ask about details would have been more interesting to hear how he sees it.
This boy has the talent, the mentality and the philosophy of a great champion already. You can feel in the questions of some "journalists" the bitterness of those who have achieved nothing in their lives except to scrape paper used to wrap vegetables and who are so jealous of these champions that they ask questions whose only aim is to hurt, to press where it hurts. Pitiful, small and mean.
You didn't lose Carlos! You were simply giving the world the false impression that you are still human. :-) I am betting you will be number 1 before the year is over.
Carlos handled the interview very well, even the off-putting last question from everyone's favorite Ubaldo 😏. Three to four days is a very short time; that was my concern for him. I think he'll be better prepared for Barcelona and the rest of the clay season.
@@robert111k It was an assumption more of a question that Carlos didn't want to be there because he lost. It's just the way Ubaldo asks the questions that can be awkward, even offensive to some.
Looks very mature in this press conference. He has great game and can get English communication, accent lose lessons for future PR use. Also need to pump his arms less and not with every point. Good luck! Must be little rude awakening after your signature drop shots were not working against Sebastian, who is not very lightening speed in disposition.
How ridiculous. There is nothing wrong with fist pumping. How they act on court is part of their personality. I don't want a dull, sterile player. As for his English, I'm not sure what you're saying because your sentence doesn't make any sense.
No foreigner speaks Spanish perfectly. And the accent is much more horrible than Carlos's. I think it's time that in tennis it is allowed to speak Spanish, which after all, is the one that dominates hahaha. What learn to speak Spanish!
Raphael English is still better than Alcaraz. He has a better accent, better flow but not better sentence constructions, grammar, choice of words, compared to Raphael. Raphael I Is better
one does NOT have to play longer points on clay. it is a matter of strategy and tactics. players who think THEY HAVE TO PLAY LONGER POINTS are set to lose. clay requires quick thinking, and every opportunity must be grabbed to put the opponent under extreme pressure. I do not think Nadal has this mentality of NEEDING to play longer points. perhaps, in his younger years, when his stamina was limitless...but today, Nadal knows he needs to keep the points SHORTER if he wants to keep winning on clay in general and at Roland Garros in particular. as for Alcaraz, i wonder what he tried to do to prepare for Monte Carlo. it seems to me he went on vacation and had very little time to adjust. and then he makes this excuse of needing to play longer points. the way he played, a good number of players aside from Korda could have beaten him, perhaps easily (Dimitrov, Zverev, Sinner, Fritz, Ruud, etc.).
@@ibshihebanahdlfl8571 it's not a rivalry, it's domination now. Tsitsipas brings out the best in Alcaraz, you can see from Alcaraz's celebrations in barcelona, he clearly dislikes Tsitsipas especially after he tried to hit Alcaraz with the ball in their match
