I was a letter carrier for 21 years, and was working (in Virginia, far away from DC) during 9-11. I much prefer the version of River Run that she sang and it was included (partially) in a TV commercial in very late 2001 for the US Postal Service. That commercial may be the best one I have ever seen. Much brisker pace.

I agree! I love her but she’s letting the other singers handle the higher octaves that we love from the original while she takes the lower ranges…still so beautiful but yes, I would’ve loved to hear Carly out in front more ❤
