Carmine Persico with his legal adviser, Attorney Stanley Meyer - The Commission trial (1986) #CarminePersico #Commissiontrial #1986 For educational purposes only
Watch it again. He says something briefly before that to his lawyer (who looked like Murray Appel). Persico sounds like the "Sollozo" character from GF1.
@@sonnyvictor3584 Did you know the west side story may have been inspired by him when his gang as a kid and a rival gang squared up and he killed the rival gang member. Did you know he caught a bullet with his teeth once in a shoot out with the gallos? Did you know the strangling scene in the Godfather is inspired by his attack on Larry Gallo? Did you know he is thought to be the killer of the high executioner Albert Anastasia? There is alot of interesting stories about Carmine Persico. They should make a movie about him, it would be more interesting than a Gotto story or the Irishman story. Although I must point out, I don't condone criminal behaviour.
@@ImranAli-tm3rq yeah but. People dont buy mob stories. Very few people glorify mobsters and they stay quiet because Society labels mob as some sort of bad guy going around killing civilians. The mob only kills their own kind. Unlike the government who sends kids who barely graduate high school to fight a corporation's war
What is significant about this clip is that Carmine Persico was acting as his own defense counsel for this trial - hence the reporter's question about how he felt up against all those "Georgetown law guys". Yet in spite of that and the fact that he was convicted, he actually performed quite well in the courtroom. In fact, when he was being sentenced, the judge said the following to him: "Mr. Persico, you're a tragedy. You are one of the most intelligent people I have ever seen in my life."
He was a very wise man he knew that representing himself is safer than putting trust and your life in someone else’s hands. short guy but stands tall as a man, life on the line back against the wall still didn’t need someone fighting for him this alone shows why he’s a boss through and through. RIP Don Persico🕊️🙏🏾
He really was a ruthless man. A killer before he turned 18. When he was 16 or 17 he was the leader of a vicious gang, and around that time he beat some kid to death. I've also heard he enjoyed torturing too.
Wow, this is literally the first time I've ever heard his voice. I always wondered what he sounded like. Please post up more Carmine Persico videos if you have any more. I find him more fascinating than John Gotti for some reason.
My grandfather used to hang out with him many years ago in Downtown Brooklyn. Persico was up and coming in the Mob at that time. My grandfather worked on the docks, so he knew them all.
One of the worst mob bosses ever. One of the smartest and one of the most ruthless. Not even prison kept that man from being the boss and having influence.
I've been searching and searching for video to see what Persico sounds like. I gotta admit I thought he would have a deeper voice, and damn he is short as hell.
@@tonyjemz777 heard it, and yah lol ...but i did start to envision him actually talking like that after a few listens... when initially I was like no fuckin way he sounded like that, but I see it now
@@t.trevino5272 its not really him. to the best of my recollection, there's no audio recording of Capone. what you heard was from an audiobook and that person is reading his words. whether they were penned by him or it's artistic license, I can't say for sure.
Fun fact: the scene in the godfather where the policeman walks in on someone getting choked in the bar was based on Carmine perisco, the first time he tried to murder someone a policeman walked in
He didn't try murdering someone he tried murdering Larry Gallo which is one of the Gallo brothers and Crazy Joe Gallos younger brother who also happend to be Persicos friend. This is how he got the name Carmine "The Snake" Persico
MOBFAX check out Sammy’s RU-vid channel. He just posted a story about when he was still hooked up with the Colombo family. Carmine Persico orders him to administer a beating and to bring him back the offenders ear. It’s everything you think it might be. Sammy’s reaction is priceless.
@Mathew Mcdonald I really don’t believe many of Sammy’s stories. Unless it’s backed up by solid evidence. He lied on the stand in trials about not being involved in drugs & other crimes. Alleged murders that he was supposed involved with were supposedly covered up. Plus, I have zero respect for that stool pigeon. No disrespect towards you. It’s things like this. The only reason I’ll watch some of his videos is to see him admit to lying/perjuring himself on the witness stand, like he did when he told the story about him collecting drug money. That’s something he denied in court. He testified that the deal never went through and he never collected any $. In his video, he says the opposite. A lot of his stories are hearsay and BS to make him look like a victim and make John Gotti out to be the bad guy. www.silive.com/news/2019/10/he-never-admitted-he-murdered-a-child-kin-of-sammy-the-bull-victim-lash-out-at-interview.html 19+ murders, Selling drugs to college students. He’s not anyone that deserves respect!
@@MOBFAX I totally agree! Thank you for shedding light on Alan's death. He was an innocent kid. Its amazing to me that somebody like Sammy the Bull has a huge following because people don't do their research or choose to not care. The fucking government let a serial killer walk free and also prosper from it. Lets see if that punk The Bull ever talks about Alan's death. Doubt it because it would ruin his little fan base and money scheme.
You all ways post great footage and people in the comments are saying its great to hear his voice. But could you please find any footage with audio or just audio of Tommy karate pitera. I've read the book about him and thay said he was a ruthless killer with a voice like Minnie mouse. I just want to hear it for myself and I thought if anyone could find it it would be you. Thank you
I didn’t realise how small the Snake actually was, to look at him you wouldn’t think he beat someone to death with just his hands, I guess looks can be very deceiving Shattered and believe me mate I don’t bored with these videos your putting on RU-vid, has I’ve said before you just never stop learning I love it Shattered thanks buddy for keeping us entertained especially in Britain with the lockdown Shattered, respect ✊ from Stevie boy
Many of the big mafia names were very small guys - Vito Genovese, Carmine Persico, Sammy Gravano, Carlo Gambino, Albert Anastasia, Meyer Lansky, Nicky Scarfo etc. Perhaps they needed to be more aggressive and street smart to compensate for their lack of physics and that took them to the top, who knows...
He made everyone so scared of him no ones arrogance lead them to kill him for there own gain (boss), they were all too intimidated and that’s rare when people think about being the boss.
Quel personnage 🤩👍, je sais pas pourquoi je l'apprécie tant ce type. Sa tronche, son style, sa façon d'être. Repose en paix Carmine, peace 🙏🕊. Paul Castellano idem.
The Snake! Imagine how ruthless and naysty you have to be to earn the nickname the snake by your peers who happened to be the most ruthless underhanded back stabbing and treacherous people on Earth lol
I looked up his childeren, they don't even look a bit similiar to him... one of them looks litteraly looks like a regular white American not sicilian/Italian at all.
