This is a fun game. I own it. The press may have given it average reviews, but they can't argue with its success. It has sold over a million copies. :)
If you have a WII for family entertainment, this game is worth a buy. Can entertain for hours. But in the long run th game and WIi will somewhat dust behind the TV screen. Decent game and i agree with the games score.
Yeah I do know about those, but I wouldn't call that a lot. A lot would be...10 good games, at least. I have an easy time coming up with 10 "minigame compilations" (like carnival games) for the wii, and they keep them coming.
Weird, I’ve had the same copy of this game for 10 years, never in my life have I ever received those glitches that people are talking about. This is probably one of my favorite party games on the Wii.
I hear you, man. I like these kinds of games too(and this one is pretty good), but the Wii has to damn many of these and not enough hardcore games, and I'm a hardcore gamer. Why can't the wii get any of those hardcore games that only seem to come out for the PS3 and 360? I only have a Wii and I want to play a lot of those games too! Games like these can be fun, but they don't have any plot and not enough substance to please a hardcore gamer long term. We want epic adventure and action games!
I bought and its good for anybody. Hardcore and casual gamers (mostly casual though). Not saying that im a casual player (hardcore for me) i just hav family members that arent Hardcore gamers like me (not all of them thogh)
Obviously there are certain types of games that couldn't be done well with older technology like the Atari and NES, but for the most part graphics don't really matter. They give you something pretty to look at, but they don't really make a game fun.
Rent it. It's good! Don't listen to anyone who says it sucks because it doesn't. It's not great because the character cusomization is very lacking, and the prizes have pretty much zero interaction( besides the fact you can rotate the large and grand prizes), but it has a great variety of games and only a few are bad. The multiplayer is pretty good. Just don't pay more then 20 bucks for it if you're thinking of buying it! Anyway, I wrote a little review for it on GameFAQs' message board.
no. I'm not asking for your list of 10 games. I want 10 games that I like. I got puzzle quest and I must say that's very addicting, so i'm adding that to my list. I know about the virtual console, and it's not old games that I care about. Thanks to emulators, anyone could have a much more extensive list than the ones they have anyway. What I want from Wii is a variety, not more of what they already have.
so then they probably aren't responsible for the extensive crappy games list, but those other publishers still have to get permission to make games for their system, right? to be honest, i only got the wii for the next SSB installment, but I thought I would be able to get a lot of other fun games too...
This is a good game on multiplayer mode when the family is round at christmas. Quite fun. That's the only reason I keep it. Other than that, I hardly play it. Single player mode sucks hairy balls
Your girlfriend was interested in carny's because they were interesting, masculine, and offered her something, that she wasn't going to get from you! I was with it, from 1978-80, ran break a dish, milk can, ring toss etc, I owned the games! I'd love to do this again, so guy, hide your girl!!! (lol)

I have this game, but it was really bad in my opinion. It’s a shame because I think carnivals are part of fun as a child, but yeah this game is a definite 5/10
I love how people are trying so hard to LIKE the Wii. Who wants to buy my Wii? $250.00, no frills (comes with MLB2k, 2 nunchucks and some dumb sword game that is boring as hell)
That's a stupid thing to make a game of. Obviously nintendo is obsessed with their own controllers and can't think of any games to make that would actually be fun.
this is everything i hate the world, anyone disagree with me then reply, whine, complain and moan but it wont change my mind. (the game fucking sucks) it's just another minigame game for the wii that abuses motion controls with the idea that the more motion controls the better the game. tell me when did nintendo provide more for casual gamers than thier fans I'll tell you when, when the wii was released. want a decent wii game? Twilight princess, galaxy, brawl stuff like that not this.
this game sucks true story ok I bought this game at gamestop for $ 50 i played it for 3 hours and got bored so i returned it the next day do not by this game.
