We had only shareholders OBC on these two sailings, they were booked in August of 2021 after cancelling our Symphony of the Seas and MSC Meraviglia sailings for the same weeks. Testing requirements made it difficult to sail a side to side on the different cruise lines.

Hi my friend! It really was nice to have the ship so empty, the next sailing had nearly 1k more people! Crazy! We had a blast but it felt significantly more crowded and it was still only at 65-70% capacity. Hugs! Thank you so much for watching!

Thought of you guys this morning when Alexa gave me Cruise News Today in my Flash Briefing that Horizon had been pulled from service in late Nov/early Dec. for "propulsion" issues. While there, it's also getting its new "livery", which is good - I learned something new today - never knew that was "a thing", and always called it a "cruise ship logo". :) Anyway, thought of you guys, glad you were able to make it back/forth before then, especially since you said it's "the best cruise ever". Now time for ME to stop yapping, and continue watching! :) Wow - that seemed like a LONG walk to get on the ship, although I've only been on 2 cruises, both LONG ago, but seemed long, especially through all those rooms, and hallways, and levels, before even getting to a gangway, and then SO much gangway! Poor Rob, having to carry those bags all that way - he should have had a "rolly bag" (what I call them). :) That elevator is pretty cool, eliminates a lot of confusion, and rushing around, trying to get "yours" - and me, being so polite usually get pushed outta the way, and having to wait for another one. Wonder what would happen if you changed your mind where you were going while on it - would you have to get off, and wait for another one? Sorry you had to go through all that stress, and wasted time, with SouthWest. :( Rob's dinner looked fab, even though he made me ROTFL, pushing his veggies away! :) Give me a banana split, hold the banana. Give me a cheeseburger, hold the cheese - I've done that as a prank before. LOL. The singer doing "Jolene" and the string trio seemed fantastic!! Socially distanced hugs from New Jersey to you and Rob, the whole family, and all the gorgeous fur babies! Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy

We are due to go on our Cruise With Carnival in October We are travelling from the UK going to Miami we are very excited. The Ship is Huge. I am positive i am going to get lost haha. 81 degrees OH MY HOW AWESOME. we are sat in our Lounge and right now we are at 13°C so the sound of 81 is music to our ears. that Funfetti cheesecake looks Amazing. we really appreciate you for taking the time to give us such a great Vlog. I was so glad to see your first vlog from the Horizon. You, Robert and some other vloggers have been great to watch during the Pandemic. You even got me back to cruising. I was on Magic in October. I was suppose to be on Mardi Gras in 2 weeks but decided to delay and let things calm down a bit. Thanks for sharing!

Just got home today from the Vista. We had so much fun. Getting on the ship there was a 6 hr delay due to fog so we sat outside on the ground in line with everyone else for about 5 hours which wasn’t much fun but there was nothing anyone could about Mother Nature lol. It really was a great cruise. Hugs sweet friend.

It looked like people were in the pool already! I didn’t realize that you could go in as soon as you got on! Have you been on the Horizon before that it is familiar? Or is it similar to other ships? We have only been on the conquest and Mardi Gras so not too experienced.

Favor and Robert, How did you like that hotel in Miami? I’m looking for a decent one to stay the night before our cruise. Would need to be picked up at airport and then a shuttle to cruise port the next day. We usually drive to Miami but decided to fly this time so we’ve never spent the night in Miami. This will be our first cruise since Fall of 2019, so excited to get back to cruising. -Angel

Hi! I have a gluten allergy. I am very sensitive and am sick for at least 3 days when I’m exposed. I can’t even breathe in airborne flours etc. so I am not Just GF. We cruise with a friend who is celiac. I have been glutened on a couple sailings, our Symphony of the Seas Vlogs from January of this year I show that. The sneak peek I go in to more detail in that vlog series. The cruise lines are very careful and go above and beyond to care for those of us with food restrictions. I’ve sailed Carnival, Royal, Norwegian, MSC and Princess and all have taken great care of me. You will need to file a health form with each of the cruise lines. I have had some hiccups along the way but they are very rare and usually mostly my fault or no one’s fault. Every vlog series I have on the channel show how I cruise gluten free.
