Thanks Marcus! I would have LOVED to have had this room on my long South America and Antarctica cruise! Its a shame that most of these Ocean Suites on the Excel class ships do almost exclusively 7 day Caribbean cruises.
Thank you Dee for another fantastic video! I’ll be cruising on an Ocean Suite Deck 9 in the Mardi Gras in a few months. Any big difference between Jubilee and Mardi Gras?
You are very welcome! The ships are very similar; I think the big difference is in the vibe of the ships. I do enjoy the New Orleans vibe on Mardi Gras, in contrast to the lighthearted under-the-sea vibe of Jubilee. Couple of layout differences, such as Emeril’s. The Ocean Suites are very much the same with just a bit of tweaked decor. I always feel at home in one when I’m in one on an Excel class ship!
@@edwinojedis Ah you will love it! Be sure to visit the Brass Magnolia, where you can sit at the bar, have a New Orleans style drink, and listen to live music. Great place to soak up that New Orleans vibe!
Our room is 9303 which is 3 rooms to the left (forward). From your balcony pro/con section picture it looks like the white awning may end and not be under that room. Do you think this is correct? I am worried about the noise with three little kids though. My other option for 5 people was on the other side above chi bang with a smaller balcony and a white awning. Can you give your opinion on what I should pick?
Yes, your room should clear the awning ,and the noise will be less there, since you’ll be further awy from the Havana Bar. Hard for me to say which you should pick, as I’ve not stayed in the location above Chi Bang. Hope someone else can chime in who has stayed in that location
