I went on the magic in November 2022. This was my first time on a cruise ship and I loved it so much. I'm grateful for the opportunity. It was so much fun. Cant wait for another chance!
An excellent, honest, and very informative review. I will be on the Magic September 1st. I guess I'm kind of a snob, because I don't tolerate lines. So I guess I'll do the specialty dining every night.
My first cruise was on the Magic Sept 2019. We had an interior mid-ship room on deck 6. We had so much fun. Most sea days were windy so we couldn't do the rope course until our last sea day. It was fun. Make sure you wear a tshirt (no open back or sleeveless) and athletic shoes. We didn't get to try the Italian restaurant. We ate at the buffet for breakfast and lunch. We did go to the steakhouse for 1 dinner night. The food was so good. We got a dessert called Art at the table. It was fantastic. We didn't spend any time at the main pool except for a movie night because it was so packed. The aft pool after dinner was great. Serenity deck was so busy we didn't get to spend any time up there. And when it was windy in the evening, they closed it off. Our next cruise in September will be on the Magic again. We are splurging for a cloud 9 spa room.
Fantastic video, narration and editing…seriously a great video. We’re heading out on Magic 04/24, hopefully we’ll have more of the 55+ fellow passengers than the kiddo’s. Been sailing with Carnival pre-covid and looking forward to returning. I’m a planner and enjoyed your video showing so much of the ship and tips. Maybe we’ll see you aboard another one day.
I am subscribed to many cruise channels and am so glad to find yours. The two of you have great energy and obviously love cruising. After one video, I feel like I've known you for years. My wife and I are Carnival Diamond cruisers with nearly 300 days at sea. Been on the Magic many times but that was before the dry dock. I like the changes they made. Yours is the 5th video I've watched on the upgraded Magic and love your video editing and honest opinions. Going on the Magic to Bermuda in a few weeks. After watching your video will be enjoying our cruise even more than ever. May all your future sailings be magical.

Hello, you said you had to wait a long time for a table doing my time dining. My question is what time did you try to dine? We are planning on eating as soon as it opens up. That has worked well for us on other ships. Thanks and happy sailing!

I wonder if all the interior cabins are that size on Magic. That looked like a decent size room. We just got off Liberty and I’ve been on Triumph and Victory back in 2001 and 2002. I just love interior cabins. Liberty was a smaller size
We sailed on her in 2022 and will be again in 2024. This is the largest class we will sail with Carnival, we typically sail on the Conquest class because we feel that class is more open than the Vista class and up. When we cruise we want to feel that we are at sea and not the feeling of being in a hotel like the Vista and above class of ships are.
We just came off the Horizon, 2 weeks ago and it was full to capacity. We did not have any of the problems that were discussed at the end of the video. We are going on the Magic tomorrow. If I remember, I will let you know how it goes. Then we can see if it is isolated to just one ship. I will be looking for Ronaldo and the others to tell them you spoke highly of them. We were on the New Years cruise for Jan 2023. The ship was almost max capacity. We did the late dining and found it to be alot easier. However the long lines at the buffet was tough unless you get up early. All in all we had a wonderful time and decoded to do a 2023 Christmas cruise on Celebration. Can't wait.
Question I googled it and I heard if you had a flamingo or pineapple on your door it means your a swinger couple. I'm neutral on that. Like Humpty hump said in a music video. (Do what you like.) My Cruse is coming up in June 2023. Thanks for the heads-up check list video tour.
Just got back from a trip on the Magic, our first cruise ever, and couldn't agree more with your assessments. Except the food. It was average to below average most days. Food was bland save a few exceptions, but we figured it was because of the majority of the cruisers on board. Drinks were top notch and we made quick friends of many of the workers on the ship. I can't begin to describe how good they are.
@@OurCruiseLife I just did mine and did “early dinning” 5:30pm. I think this means I will have a reserved table so I don’t have to wait right? My first cruise. Loved y’all’s video!
Thanks for the info, just got off carnival celebration, it’s a beautiful ship, the food was disappointing, it was not good at all. Not much to do, it’s a beautiful ship , disappointing food and boring vibes.
Carnival's theater shows have gone downhill over the last few years. They're basically just a few singers and dancers performing in front of a video scree.
