I must have watched this video at least five times in the last few months. My sister and I are going on the Mardi Gras in January and it looks totally different than any other Carnival cruise.
I'm going in January and soaking up all the info I can because it seems this ship has so many fantastic food choices you cannot experience everything in a week. I'm in a planning stage and your video was very useful and helpful. Thank you!
We tried every restaurant except ChiBang. Regret we didn't make that one, had it planned for the last night but ended up being too tired so we had room service dinner in the room which was outstanding. Loved the wings and sweet potato fries and even the salad was fresh and appealing. It truly was a culinary cruise experience. I did the Carnival Kitchen Cake Decorating and it was wonderful. I love to bake and learned some great techniques. Love your channels, just found them and binge watched your Amtrak videos! Keep on keeping on!

I book Rudy’s for our first night on the cruise. I have booked reservations for 2 but count down is 11 days. However I couldn’t find our time. I am so excited. Thanks for the review I will be doing all of y’all choices

I was originally going to pass on the Teppenyaki but after your glowing review I think I will book it. I am on the fence with Rudis - i keep looking for a menu for it. My man loves seafood so I think he will appreciate it. Emeril's for breakfast looks good ! I am excited to try Big Chicken & Guy's Burgers ( never been to one before )
Oh I loved your train videos, but did not know you did cruise videos. We have cruised for years (about 2x each year) but this is a new ship[ and we are excited to board her in July - thanks for the video
We have a shaqs chicken restaurant here in vegas (I drive past it everyday) it's near the airport/the strip. This is why I enjoy carnival more than any other cruise line (princess is my 2nd favorite) I don't feel nickel and dimed. Their prices for their specialty restaurants are MUCH better than others, the don't limit you either. I love hibachi and carnival does a GREAT job with theirs (NCL is also very good as well) . GREAT free food options as well. Other cruise lines it's dining room or buffet (lunch and dinner) Carnival I'm so undecided with all the great options lol.
Thanks for the great review! I pre-booked Rudi's for my upcoming cruise and planned to book Bonsai Teppanyanki once I got on the ship. Based on your review, I will now pre-book it as well. I really enjoyed Bonsai Teppanyanki on the Carnival Horizon and look forward to trying it on the Mardi Gras.
I got My Paid Reservations for Rudi's for the First Night, and Teppanyaki for Lunch the second sea day, though My Cruise is a B2B JANUARY 15TH & 22ND. I am planning the other going to the other Restaurants

Hello, love your vidoes! I'll be on the Carnival Mardi Gras next week too! Do you know if I have to have an assigned dining time to sit in the Palm MDR? I changed my dining time to YTD I think I read somewhere the folks on YTD are in the Flamingo MDR.
You should look to see if it is available in your pre trip planner online, if you need to do it on the ship, I think guest services, we didn't see it with the specialty restaurants in the app.
