@@kevinadrian7171 This was my first exposure to Fate and Tsukihime. I had no idea who anyone was or what was going on, but that actually made the experience even more surreal. Now that I'm more familiar with the characters and events of both franchises I can watch it again and enjoy it as intended, but I assure you it was no less entertaining as a total newcomer.
Only a few anime have the balls to make a spin-off of a series where the characters who went through so much shit made to be fun of or be ridiculed and fans are still ok about it. Truly we are blessed.
Actually there'splenty of traffic through the gate as there's a large quantity of monks training at the Ryuudou temple, according to Shirou. Also people from Fuyuki go to pray at the temple every so often and some use the stairs as training. The Track and Field girls that are friends of Rin have a few scenes in Hollow Ataxia where they go to the temple and one of them even has conversations with Assassin.
@@bbpele2848 he was summoned with the temple as it's master, caster was just his summoner, it was bound to the temple because a servant needs to be bound to something that exists from that age.

@@bleblancw Just remember this is a timeline where no slaying of children ocurred. Even Shinji lives sort-of happily. "Sort-of" because both in Carnival Phantasm and Hollow Ataraxia it's shown that Sakura is now the one ruling the Matou household with an iron fist with a bit of help from Rider.
The gag with Assassin being unable to join the carnival because he can't move away from the gate is so funny to me. Love that its in the intro and then his scenes in the race episode when he shows up with the entire gate and has some sort of romance with it had me rolling around on the ground laughing. Such a good gag.
@@enternalking8527 That's precisely the joke. He's perpetually stuck to the temple gate. It's the recurring joke in Hollow Ataraxia. I liked the budding friendship between one of Rin's track and field friends and Assassin (she's one of the few regular people who can see him while in Spirit form)

they all got a happy ending in fate/hollow ataraxia it merged fate/stay night, unlimited blade works, and heavens feel into a single timeline using the second magic, bringing everyone who died/disappeared (saber) in the previous works back and giving them all a happy ending it also added two more girls to Shiro's harem. it was basically a sequel to those three entries that also functioned as pure fan service
Cygames Carnival Phantasm, where every single Cygames gacha (Granblue, priconne, umamusume etc) gather together. Probably chaos and way too many characters, but I want it XD
While everyone was happily dancing and goofing around, Ryougi Shiki was probably eating ice cream on her bed and got mad at Mikiya for asking her if she wanted to join the fun
The fact that the Nasuverse can go from stuff like Tsukihime and Fate with all its edginess, violence, and rape to this is just goofy to think about. Also Kara no Kyoukai cries in a corner for being left out.
I love how in 0:46 as Kuzuki is loading the gun it looks like he’s about to shoot the guy running the game stand and said guy looks like he’s 100% done with life.
And as battle royale with trauma, historical figures and and themes go,would recommand. Its also not only fate theymixrd in the other series characters in.

I can't describe how Carnival Phantasm makes me feel. The fact that I'm already so deep into this franchise and the fact that i'm familiar with all the characters... It makes me reconsider my life decisions. But I still like it.
My favorite part of this OP has always been, throughout all these years, Rin failing to figure out how to use a DVR, not only because it's hilarious, but also because most of the section is animated on a combination of 1s and 2s, so they put in a lot of effort into her little existential breakdown. Truly wonderful.

I finally got into fate after all these years. I never realized how popular it really was. even in the short couple of weeks I started reading the fsn vn I've seen many references. feels good to see type-moon stuff and actually recognize it.
I love when fate does the cutsey stuff like this and prisma illya between the main series. Its like someone offering you a candy bar then kicking you in the nuts when youve finished.
